So her first runner-up is more prepared and ready for Miss Universe than her? Lols

She had enough time to prepare if she did at the right time. She choose to put her job at the radio first. Anyway really disappointing.
Good for Floriane and Clémence.

Are you kidding me? Do you have any idea about a Miss France's schedule?
She's in regions every week-end since March/April for local and then regional pageants. Every morning she works 3h in a radio show that she co-hosts from 6 to 9 am and in the afternoon she has engagements with sponsors : photoshoots, tv shows, meet and greet with fans... she spends her life in trains, taxis or planes. She's been in Guyane, Caribbeans, Spain, Italy ... for sponsors photoshooting or local pageants. This is Miss France, not Miss Universe who is barely allowed to step out of her apartment. The girl only had a 2 weeks vacation this summer.

I know that but her org should automatically book her Miss Universe participation as part of her schedule. Nobody will die if she misses attending local pageants or sponsor functions for 2-3 weeks out of her entire reign.
Her job should also be understanding. This is harsh and it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I THINK THAT THE FACT THE MISS FRANCE WILL COMPETE INTERNATIONALLY (EXPECIALLY MISS UNIVERSE) ONE OR TWO YEARS LATER WILL BECOME THE NORM (MAEVA FROM MISS FRANCE 2018 TO MISS UNIVERSE 2019, CLEMENCE FROME MISS FRANCE 2020 TO MISS UNIVERSE 2021). I'M SURE THAT DYANE WILL COMPETE NEXT YEAR BECAUSE SHE ALWAYS STATED THAT SHE WANTS TO COMPETE INTERNATIONALLY (DIFFERENCE WITH VAIMALAVA THAT NEVER WANTED IT).
MISS FRANCE IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENTI FROM MISS UNIVERSE AND MISS WORLD SO I ACCEPT THE STATEMENT OF DYANE! IS A TOTAL DIFFERENT PREPARATION.
MISS UNIVERSE IS IN JANUARY AND THE 1ST RUNNER UP HASN'T THE STRICT AGENDA OF THE WINNER, SO SHE WILL HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO PREPARE GOOD.

It's more difficult than that, it seems the actual issue is that Diane was presented an exclusive agency contract that she refused to sign. She was ok to remain with them but not under exclusive contract.
She would have had to remain under Talent Lab for another year after she crowns her successor. This morning Diane nearly was crying when explaining what really is happening. They published an official announcement with her name on it when it's clearly another issue, the nerve of them!
The.Apprentice wrote:This is so bad. Miss Universe was her dream and they denied her of it. You can tell she's heartbroken.
HOWEVER, hosting a radio show in the middle of her reign (and let's be honest, that radio show is terrible and will most likely be cancelled in January) while doing all of her duties (and like Arduina said, MF is the busiest national queen you can think of, she is on the road every single weekend and has so many activities during the week) was such a bad idea.
Iris did her reign, prepared for Miss Universe during her year, crowned Alicia, had a Christmas break and flew to Manila. She was focused to get it while doing her MF duties. Diane could never do that with that radio show anyway.
I don't know who advised her to take this job but they need to be fired.
Nevertheless, this is so shady from the marketing agency to do that to her knowing how bad she wanted to go. To be honest, I don't have many hopes for Miss Universe this year.
Clemence on the other hand will probably do well in MW but she MUST show how hard she works for those charities.
Hopefully not. I actually felt the same during her Miss France days and she proved us wrong later on. (I just wish her answer to the final question went better instead of what actually happened!).Thomas876 wrote:I really think she will clap in January...
