Furthermore, if not the only pageant with real (they practice what they preach) advocacy, it is unquestionably one of the few. The queens they produce are something we can be proud of. They contribute to improving societies both during and after their reigns.

How I wish every Filipino pageant fan has a similar mindset towards Miss Earth. That would be the day.

OTHERWISE IT WILL BE UNFAIR FOR FANS OF THESE REMAINING FOUR BIG 5 Pageant.

Why can't Filipino pageant fans continue patronizing and supporting their own without having to drag other beauty pageants down the gutter?

Don't make it a trait like only Filipinos do this kind of thing. Many are putting down Miss Earth just to elevate other pageants.

You should be aware that insulting and making fun of others is not limited to non-Filipinos. My behavior is simply reactive; if you mock or insult us, I will do the same to you. If you treat us with respect, I’ll respect you more.
Ganun din ang behaviour ko sa mga ototera, chaka, dugyot wannabe pageant experts na mga pinoys!

If non Filipinos cannot accept ME, I won't make it my personal problem and distress over something I do not deserve. As a pageant enthusiast, I feel good patronizing our home grown pageant without having to vilify other pageant organizations originated elsewhere. Fighting a word war with detractors I don't care about is futile. I'm done with that since a long time ago it's no longer my cup of tea.

I somewhat agree with you but your comment could have been phrased in a better way. I am also passed the phase, as a pageant fan, that I dont care about what they say against Miss Earth but cant help from time to time to comment, be it negative or positive, about other pageants. If other Filipinos are passionate to defend Miss Earth against it bashers, especially from fans of Angkol, coz I perfectly understand their sentiments. Though, we must caution them to be more professional than the others.

Did you get enough convincing answers? If affirmative, please share while you can those nuggets with us so we'll get enlightened.
That's exactly what I meant when I said it's "futile exercise" to distress over an issue that you have no control over. Engaging the haters' emotional outburst could in the process lead to worse. No adversary wants to be silenced even if the points you've raised are keen, sound and valid. Why? Because your adversary believes otherwise. Here's the caveat: you could even be consumed by your own hatred that in the end becomes counterproductive and exposes weakness.
Note that intelligent discussions seldom flourish in this scenario all else then result to a wasted energy. At the close of day, serves well to know you can only choose your own battle. You cannot for certain be recompensed by irresponsible personas and their line of thought that you don't deserve. Stooping down to such gutter level of thinking is no better option, if otherwise, proceed but see a waning self worth fail in the end.

It's the usual comments you see from internet trolls like Miss Earthquake is minor Miss earthsoup left the chat or something down the line.
Yeah its useless to engaged with them and expect a normal conversation. Also because they already made up their minds about Miss Earth same with Miss gwand so its pointless and a waste of energy. The only way to sway someone from that kind of thinking is for them to realize on their own.
In early days of Miss Earth I was very vocal and active in especially when voy forums still exists. But then I realized that one's opinion is either right or wrong. If that's what your into that's fine do you and that goes to all of us but telling others that your pageant is better because of this or that then that's where the fight starts. We can like different things and still get along.
