I wouldn't say minor pageants but Tier 2. Minor pageants are the Miss Glamour, Miss Tourism, etc of the world. The likes of Ms Globe, Ms Intercontinental are your Tier 2 pageants.
Minor or not minor, they carry same sash- PHILIPPINES- so its still representation

That's just putting it mildly. At the end of the day, anything not major is MINOR. Only Universe and World are the major pageants. I am all for representation, that's good. But let's not also deny the fact that Bb. Pilipinas, as a pageant, is now 2nd tier, even if they get the most beautiful (subjective) girls joining, those girls won't be getting major pageant accolades. Truth be told, girls will be crossing over to Miss World Philippines and MUPH, sooner or later.

I beg to disagree. Bb. Pilipinas has maintained its prestige and attractiveness despite losing the 2 major titles as you put it. Similar to how Miss Deutschland and Miss Italia, candidates participate because becoming a national pageant titleholder is an accomplishment in itself.
In the case of MWPH, despite having the top plum and a smorgasbord of other titles, it cant seem to penetrate the same way Bb. Pilipinas does

Fair enough, if you think so. I just hope without the 2 major titles, Bb. Pilipinas can still attract major corporate sponsorship. Who will award 300K as prizes for special awards and not just 50K worth of pizza pie GC.

This is because they own the Pizza chain. Bb. Pilipinas doesn’t really need additional sponsors because they survive from Araneta-owned companies. Unlike other pageants that need external sponsorships to survive and operate, Bb. Pilipinas can rely on their own

Then they are not prestigious at all. It's good they are self-sufficient but really a not good business model.
Bb. Pilipinas as a charitable organization is not glamorous or prestigious ever since, hello Cumbia apparel much? They may have made progress in recent years but that's just because girls started doing great in international scene. They need to do it, otherwise they'll be shoved in the back burner without the Miss Universe franchise.

How a Pizza chain got involved in the pageantry especially for Miss Universe? Is their chain a some sort of Buffet or Eat ALL You Can kind of Restaurant. I understand BPCI owns Smart Coliseum and Hotel chains.

our dear friend was trying to question the prizes awarded in Binibini by citing ₱30,000 from Pizza Hut.
I just clarified that the Araneta group owns Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Dairy Queen, Araneta Center, Gateway Mall, Ali Mall, Farmers Plaza, Novotel, etc.which technically makes Binibini not a revenue generating business for them.

I urge everyone to get familiarized with event pageantry in the country particularly BPCI. Magbasa muna ng kasaysayan before you begin to shoot off your mouth. Binibining Pilipinas is an INSTITUTION! Period. Trusting this statement does ring a bell.

And yet, no one gives a shit of any international crowns they've won. Binibini can crown the most beautiful half-breed and win an international crown but most people just ignore them and no one can even remember their names. Miss World Philippines and Miss Universe Philippines winners are the most followed, locally and abroad by pageant enthusiasts and that's the fact. Anyway, are the girls in Bininibing Pilipinas witty because the girls in Miss Universe Philippines do? I asked because i heard many of the girls who joined the Binibini are airhead.
