If I remember it right, there are few forummers here who use PH flag or use other countries’s flag then bash PH.
One is Maricel, another is tresure.
And their countries start with the letter “i”.

So what's to be envious about?

"third world" is no longer used in the lexicon of economic development and world affairs at this time and age. Try asking the economists and experts or specialists on world affairs. Or better still, read and re-learn. The better term to use as appropriate is "developing" economies". Third world is archaic, usage of the term tells us how ignorant you are about world affairs. It's no surprise then that your anchovy-sized brain is unable to process and embrace new knowledge as it presents itself. Simply put your mental capability is outright inferior and inadequate as that of a cockroach, hence, there's absolutely no need to try to be pretentious. That is almost assured!

Continue acting like a 5-year old. Nothing more you can say except this overused worn out reply. This is inevitable because you're lost for words and can no longer defend the issue which you have started. This page is free. I'd get back to you once you have something else new to say.

LOL! Sorry to burst your bubble but if they really wanted to win their 3rd crown, they could have done it after they HOST the Miss Universe in 2018. In 2019 Paweensuda is more than capable of winning. The 2018 edition will go down in HISTORY as the Best Miss Universe Edition of all time. I think everyone will agree, and we have to thank THAILAND FOR HOSTING IT. So don't pity them.. they don't need it.
Yes true Thailand only has 2 crowns while Philippines has 4... but since you wanted to show the numbers.. Maybe we can add this in their record.. Thailand's beauty was noticed first in the Miss Universe stage as they won in 1965 while Philippines was in 1969.
Both countries already proved their capacity to win.

Stop the attempt to blur the official records. It is officially on record that Philippine beauties were already noticed in pageant circles even before 1965. Gemma Teresa Guerrero Cruz won Ms. International in 1964. Lalaine Bennett was adjudged Miss Universe 3rd runner-up in Ms Universe of 1963, two years earlier before Thai beauty Apasra Hongsakula won Ms. U in 1965.

I'm not attempting to blur anything.. those are FACTS. I responded to the topic about winning the miss universe crown, not miss international wins nor miss universe runner-ups. Thailand got their crown first and thats official record as well. No one can deny it.

Did I even deny Apasra's win in 1965? "Thailand's beauty was noticed first ..." seemed harmless enough (never mind the shade!) but I have doubts about motive. The key word was "noticed" as I read that correctly. It did not ask who won the 1st Miss Universe title between Thailand and the Philippines. The statement was far from specific as it inferred to beauty being noticeable universally, hence, causing a confusion that hung open to the reader's own comprehension level. You want to be an apologist for Thailand's desperate call for a 3rd win, fine by me. Anyways, posting a reply in a thread that reeks of negativity at the onset answers it all.

well it is up to you to interpret, I replied to your post because you're sayin' "I'm attempting to blur an official record which I do not obviously" and as far as I can remember I only said "perhaps we can add this to their records" since someone stated that Thailand has 2 wins and Philippines has 4... that's direct comparison and since we are "comparing" why not add something that is based on facts as well.. Everybody wants to win the miss universe crown. Hence why would they join the contest on the first place if they just want to be a clapper. IF like what you said Thailand is "Desperate for its 3rd win" then Philppines is "desperate for its 5th"... seems like both countries are "desperate" rather than motivated or driven to win.

I would not brag. Thailand puts on a much better show than the Philippines ever did hosting the Miss Universe pageant. And if you're talking about crowns....my country more than you can dream of. Remember in 2012 when USA beat the Philippines?
