♠ ROAD TO MISTER FRANCE 2023 : OFFICIAL THREAD ♠



Mister France 2023 will be the 16th Mister France pageant, to be held on March 04, 2023 at the Théâtre de Poissy in Poissy (Yvelines, Île-de-France). 29 young men, between 18 and 30 years old, will try to win the title of the most handsome man in France.




The show will be choreographed with a troupe of professional dancers for a magical show and will feature performances from Papa London (kuduro, reggae and merengue singer) and Jordan Olympus (pop & R&B singer-songwriter).

Who will succeed Lenny Tabourel, Mister Méditerranée 2021 and Mister France 2022?

OFFICIAL: For the very first time, the 29 regional elected officials will leave for a preparation trip to a heavenly destination before the final of Mister France, exactly like the official candidates of Miss France!

For this 2023 edition, at the invitation of the city of Praia, the candidates will be received on the island of Santiago in Cape Verde. Candidates will stay there from February 24 to March 3 to prepare for the Mister France final which will take place on Saturday March 4 at the Théâtre de Poissy!

Mister France 2023: Corse
1st runner-up: Mayotte
2nd runner-up: Nord-Pas-de-Calais
3rd runner-up: Bourgogne-Franche-Comté
4th runner-up: Languedoc



It's a choice that might come as a surprise to many people but not to me. A few hours before the start of the competition, Mister Alsace and Mister Auvergne withdrew. Mister Auvergne posted a video on Instagram on Saturday afternoon where he explained the reasons for his withdrawal: the competition is not fair, some contestants are favored and the representatives of regions considered not interesting like his have not a single chance of winning. From there, I suspected that Mister Corse would win, it's a powerhouse in Mister France, always finishing in the Top 5 but having never won yet. Another region appreciated by the national committee is Guadeloupe but the representative this year from this region was extremely unattractive.

Anyways, the national winner is alright to me but not at all amazing. A little disappointed with the choice. There were still plenty of other better men out there, though that's not a bad choice either. That said, it's nice to see a blond win, it hadn't happened since 2011 and he's the first blond under this committee. In addition, his profile is really original because there are not many curly blonds in France. Concerning the runners-up, I didn't expect Mayotte to finish in the Top 5 and even less as the 1st runner-up but he's really deserving. There's always at least one Black man in the Top 5 at Mister France but I didn't expect it to be him. That said, he would have been a better winner than Corse. Nord-Pas-de-Calais is unexpected too and I don't like him. He's average and looks a bit harsh to me. Besides, Nord-Pas-de-Calais sent better contestants in the past and they never placed in the Top 5. Bourgogne-Franche-Comté is good and Languedoc is nothing special but decent, besides Languedoc is a powerhouse at Mister France too so I'm not surprised at all to see him in the Top 5.

Mister France 2023 won't normally compete anywhere, like every year.
