"Online search" is such a vague term these days. Let's see if we're gonna see a digital or live pageant for this year's MPE.
(to be blunt, we're still lacking in our pandemic response here. hoping for the best but not expecting too much i guess.)

We’re told that Carousel will likely make its call after the MPE pageant this summer. Keeping fingers crossed for a live pageant, even a much more limited one.
Still hoping for a live pageant. If it's not possible to do the competition here, I hope they can partner up with Thailand or any other countries with low COVID 19 cases. Even if we had a wonderful virtual pageant last year, I think NDs and contestants will prefer to compete in a live pageant, especially they have seen other pageants do it this year.
I think it possible. By then, let’s hope that the majority of delegates have been vaccinated in their home countries before flying to the Philippines. If not, they can get screened for Covid upon arrival in Manila just like what they did at Miss Universe. Then Carousel just has to limit the exposure of the women to ordinary folks during their visits to various eco tourism sites. Good news is that environmental activities are mostly done outside. But school tours may have to wait until 2022.

Yes, that's a great idea. But if they cannot do it here in the Philippines, I hope they can do it in other countries with low COVID cases. Praying for a live pageant this year

There is no excuse for Carousel not to stage a live pageant for Miss Earth this year. Miss Universe and MGI proved that holding a pageant is possible they just need to look for the right venue.
What Miss Earth can do is to create a bubble. Limit the out of town travels and make sure if they are outdoors there will be a security to control the crowd.
As much as I want festive pre-pageant activities just like in the previous editions it will take years before it will happened again.

The Miss Earth National costumes of Venezuela, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, India at Miss Earth are way much better than their Miss Universe counterparts.

This I agree. Iba ang dating ng NC competition last year. Sobrang highlighted yung details. Ang gaganda din ng kuha. Hope they will continue that even if they will opt for a live finals.

Tulog ang gobyerno natin. Sayang ang 20million pfizer vaccine intended sa Pilipinas. Normal na sana ang buhay sa Maynila kung ang bawat isa nabakunahan kahit isang beses lang which is good for six months.
