The current pageant was held in Phnom Penh Cambodia on Sunday January 29, 2023.
Maria Luisa Varela officially replaced Herlene Nicole Budol as the Philippines’ candidate for the pageant.
At the final of the show, Monique Best crowns Maria Luisa Varela as the new Miss Planet International 2023

Let Tolentino spearhead his legal moves. Not through hearsays or the biases of public opinion. Tolentino is the accuser. If he remains clueless which legal course of action to take, If he's unable to pursue what should come next in accord with the law, then he compounds his loses. It seems that you are lawyering for WT. Or with his camp. What then should be your next best legal move to take? Educate me!

It should be the court of law in RP, not in Uganda nor in Cambodia, that should litigate and decide on the matter, i.e. WT versus M Antonio et al. That would be exciting to follow:- 1st, because of Tolentino's allegations of fraudulent misrepresentation; 2nd, due to an alleged bribery by M Antonio's leading to Varela's clinching the crown; and, 3rd, the ensuing publicity stunt at no cost to the fledgling MPI Org.

Seems however that WT press releases are all about media mileage blah, blah, blah. Now where's the beef? I'm inclined to think that the opposite camp is just waiting for the case to be filed in court. If push comes to shove, his nemesis won't just be sitting mum idly. This M. Antonio has his aces up his sleeves. Or else, he wouldn't be spending oodles of his own moolah if his counter maneuvers aren't covered well, legitimately.

The onus of burden is on Wilbert Tolentino and his defunct organization, not otherwise. Let's see who'll have the last laugh.

Wilbert Tolentino has just filed a civil case against Miss Planet International 2023 Titleholder Maria Luisa Abaño Varela last Monday at the Regional Trial Court in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The ex-National Director had just posted on Going Out With Mike And Rye Facebook Page last night and quote: WILBERT TOLENTINO: "Congratulations Miss Philippines at Combo ang nakuha niya (and the combinations that she gets): Crown + CEO + Engaged + Civil Case".

Wilbert Tolentino filed a civil case against the new titleholder of Miss Planet International Maria Luisa Abaño Varela yesterday at the Regional Trial Court, Quezon City.

The former National Director posted a comment on our page this evening and quote
WILBERT TOLENTINO:
"Congratulations Miss Philippines at Combo ang nakuha nya : Crown + CEO + Engaged + Civil Case".
