Rumor has it that a national motorcade around the Philippines is in place when Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel, the first Filipina-American to represent Miss USA and win Miss Universe together with Miss Universe Owner Anne when the two visit the Philippines this 2023.

As for Celeste, there is still no date as to when she will be arriving back to Manila.

Any thoughts?

Islander Filipinos are known to be very welcoming. Even those populating the urban centers are notwithstanding how urbanized city dwellers have become in the preceding immediate years! This national trait is an inherited gem that's deeply embedded in the nation's cultural heritage (the informed across the world would know by now.)

Embracing R'Bonney's triumph is easier done, nothing tentative in that, to say the least. Pinoys could relate with her personal struggles and the difficulties she braved through toward wining her Ms USA crown. If the motorcade goes as planned, the whole archipelago celebrates and national recognition resonates even among expatriated Pinoys living and working in distant lands.

I trust the organizers turn the event into a field of opportunity where the flak on Celeste's failure could die down and be a thing of the past! This event should usher a window where peoples of the world could glimpse the natural landscapes and of the warmth of the islanders in their native sights and sounds.

She won representing USA not Philippines. So, no motorcade.

It's a trigger move that could yield valuable ROIs.

Queen A's JKN Group is well entrenched in the Philippines. Of the current estimates 113M, the country has over 65M adult Filipinos who glitter like a magnet to Mother hen's business expansion plans. Media and entertainment is at the epi center of Queen Anne's volume of business and the country looks promising as a captive market. Likewise, Phil shows and entertainment products find its way and are marketed into the ASEAN bloc courtesy of Queen Anne's vision to dominate the regional market.

If JKN has the moolah to spare, why would her local counterpart refuse the motorcade? It's all in the name of reciprocal trade and business receipts. The Phil will not claim R'Bonney like her own. How can that be 'coz it sounds preposterous for someone to attempt or even suggest a hint of that. Of course if the plan materializes, Ms Uiverse 2022 will be welcomed as an honored tourist while her own father's native barangay celebrates her victory.

In the end, a win win situation. No one loses.
