AM I STILL IN YEAR 1997?!

What are the odds in the fact that the year that CURACAO failed to place in the top 3... (Verna Vasquez 1997) would happen over again with the exact same countries ending up as 1ru and MISS UNIVERSE. In 1997 T&T placed in the top 3. This year Dominican Republic which is another caribbean queen. The similarities are scary!

All by all I AM PROUD OF MY GIRL GABRIELA!! In terms of beauty you were THE BEST. The question was tricky and we'll leave it at that, but this is not the end. We are making progress and UNIVERSE.... CURACAO will be back and even stronger!! :!! :!! :!!

Another favorite, Abbygale Arenas, Miss Philippines, failed to place in the top10 by placing 11th in 1997.

Another similarity is that the outgoing queens ( Alicia Machado and Harnaaz Sandhu ) were both bashed for weight increase.
