Twenty finalists will compete for the Miss Universe Jamaica 2022 on August 20th, 2022.
They were selected at the AC Hotel by Marriott hotel during a grueling elimination process on July 3rd, 2022.

I currently lean towards Rachel Silvera and Toshami Calvin, just based off photographs.

The clear winner here and the only one that matters to me is Celine Walters. Pulse model.

Havent heard her speak as yet, and I do think she needs to add on some more weight, but yeah, no competition here.

I also applaud her for showing up to the eliminations like she was ready to compete at the national pageant or even at the Miss Universe stage. Makeup, hair, wardrobe, everything on point. Especially when compared to the other ladies.

Yellow don't know about the one in the yellow ss but this one here the model...We know they just need a bit of training and she has the international appeal and experience being a model on the intl stage .....That woman should do Jamaica justice at MU2022. Don't know if her afro might be an issue with the judges but she is the full package to represent and with the amount of time between crowning and Miss Universe they should have her ready...but only concern...The wardrobe.

Miss Jamaica universe styling is still off and I now know that it’s not a Jamaican thing. It’s the organization thing. I’ve seen a few other Jamaican girls competing for other parents that are not under mju team and they look great very current and very modern and on trend. I just don’t get why styling is still and issue for them when other less known pageants in my Jamaica are already ahead in the styling department.

I am reaching out to a few designers and Lesa was in Jamdung with her husband but I do not know if she left.She has a very successful design co that have moved into the none maternity wear look and trust me that girl can work every damn design. Yellow they need to wrap this thing up by the end of July with her wearing the crown and get busy. If the judging is fair that girl should shut it down at MU2020.

She caught my attention too. Based on all the ladies, she definitely has the best body. Skin is flawless too. When I saw close ups of her face though, not as stunning facially. There's another contestant with a short cut that is facially stunning but is more of a Miss World beauty to me.

Overall, its hard for me to judge though cause speaking ability is very important. Hoping that Celine can speak well.

The reason why mju team keeps sending these girls in dated fashions are because they only have yes people on their teams. Any time anyone give an advice on their ig or Facebook page they block them. I mean how many ill fitted pantsuits are we going to get with the long dated selves ? I mean I’ve seen a few other girls competing at other pageants and the stylings are on point. Very high fashion very on trend I’m like wow so it’s only the mju team that are sending girls in dated fashions. I mean they have a 20 something year old girls wearing brooches. The other pageants that are taking over on Jamaica are not playing games. Their girls are very well dressed modern, up to date, very trendy and the gowns are perfection. Time for mju to hire fresh young creative people.

I like Toshami as well but she seems to need quite a bit of toning bodywise. I dont think there is enough time. Ladies need to hit the gym over a year in advance if they intend to do well.

This girl came 100% ready to work and as for her not being fatally stunning...I am confused. But it is up to the judges in Jamaica and U team ...Good luck to all of them and may the best one win but there is no time to waste on BS appearances and ribbon cutting.

In her recent pics she is looking like an athlete. She doesn't need to tone any more. Just has to maintain and do HIIT and pilates.

Rachel Silvera reminds me a bit of Ana-Kay Pullen (to the right) 2nd runner up in Miss Jamaica World 1989. If she has Ana-Kay's infectious personality and with more oomph, imo, should be a serious contender for the crown.

I just realized Catherine Harris, 2nd runner up in Miss Jamaica World 2018 and was Jamaica's representative at Miss Earth 2020 is also competing. Not sure what is taking the organization so long to release the official headshots so we can get a better look at the contestants. With her experience she can place in the top 5. Doubt she can win though, if she didn't make an impression at Earth, chances are she will not make an impression at Universe.
