yes, the Black Face cost her badly.
but watching at her performance, she lacked the spark. and her performance was not impressive.
by watching her in the preliminaries and her previous issue with Nova Stevens, I knew already she will clap hard together with another favorite South Africa.
Filipinos are not worth dying for.

Big surprise for me,bianca was top 5 for me,she was stunning, great performer, charismatic, with great personality and great interview skills,i believe weak sash/controversy cost her a placement, for me she was one of the best that year.
Miss bahamas is an interesting choice, she is exotic, this year they wanted to give chance to other choices.

Unless one of the judges or MUO pulled the "black face" photo issue & conflict with Nova on social media prior to her arrival that possibly left them unimpressed during closed door interview?

Quote from Missosology Facebook Page:
Is sash weight just an urban myth?
Bianca Tirsin of Romania was a Top 5 finisher at both Miss Supranational 2017 and Miss International 2018 but at Miss Universe 2020, she failed to advance in the Top 21 in Florida, USA despite she has a great track record in her belt.
Chantel O'Brian of The Bahamas was a clapper at Miss World 2015 but when she competed at Miss Universe 2021 in Israel she made it to the Final 10 and beat several favorites. (Note: I was reminded of Carmelita Ariza of Turks & Caicos, she was a clapper at Miss World 1986 but she finished in the Top 10 at Miss Universe 1987)
Questions to ponder:
1. Was politics involved their fate at Miss Universe 2020 and Miss Universe 2021? What makes Chantel as a semifinalist at Miss Universe that Bianca didn't?
2. Was Telemundo caused Bianca to clap or did her black face photo prior to her arrival in Florida made the judges and MUO unimpressed despite her stellar performance in the preliminaries?
3. With Telemundo out of the picture as major sponsor in Israel, did it favor some of the weak sash countries like The Bahamas, Singapore, Aruba and Paraguay at Miss Universe 2021?
4. Do you think Bianca should had competed at the 2021 edition in Israel than 2020 edition?
Well wasn't the Bahamas cruise one of the price package for the winner or something? I definitely think Romania should have placed. she was the strongest from Europe in my opinion. but overall that whole edition was a mess. lots of strong contenders were left out. there were many conflict of interests. Sorry but Myanmar was only chosen to be in top 16 because of what was happening in the country during that time. most countries only chosen because of fan fare, publicity and sash factors. I am not gonna name the countries because I know I will get bashed here. My heart still breaks for Nepal. I really think she was one of the top contenders that year. If she was representing any powerhouse sashes she would have won
