No need. Celeste is now fluent in english. She can express herself perfectly.

If it's in Her Heart, Tagalog can be learned in 3 months. And Besides, she's been here In The Philippines for a long time. She could have understood it already but she just needs to express the words into her mouth. And her accent could diminish overtime. Mag Tagalog sya. When Michelle Van Eimeren came to The Philippines, in 3 months she was fluent already in Tagalog because it's in her Heart. She'll be interacting with People in All Walks of Life with The Media and Tagalog would definitely enhance her Reach Out especially to The Squatters where The Needs is at the highest. It's OK with Iris or Demi to have that thick English accent because they are just visitors but Hers, It's a Must because she lives here for a long time and She Will Represent Us All in the International Pageant. Besides, she Always says I miss All My Family, I love My Mom but we haven't seen her with A family. All we see is Her Boyfriend. That's one thing also we would like to know, Her Family. If she can Introduce The Family to Us that would be great.

We are often reminded that the basic essence of effective communication is being understood by the person next to you.

The probing questions asked of Celeste during the entire duration leading to the finals of MUPh'22 was in English. I don't see any reason why she must belabor herself speaking Tagalog if she wasn't categorically asked to reply in her mother's tongue. If she feels unease or uncomfortable in Tagalog and its nuances let her speak English. It's not as if Celeste violates any code of conduct if she opts to speak even in halting English. As everyone may have noticed, Celeste's communication skills since her ME stint have vastly improved. Her English proficiency may not be grammar-school flawless but obviously she did not struggle hard as much as to be markedly noticeable. When Celeste speaks conversational English, she endears herself to her listeners with that unmistakable hint of a thick Italian inflection. That definitely adds charm that breezes in as plus factor in her persona. BTW, friends close to her tell that Celeste converses with them in stylized Tagalog occasionally but that certainly is not something required when she interacts with fellow kababayans as she travels outside the country.
