After her great success at Miss Paris 2022 by obtaining the first runner-up sash, Andréa Furet will therefore be the first trans woman to compete in a regional pageant for Miss France! (Miss Île-de-France 2022 in October)

Congratulations Andréa! I must say that I saw a video of her catwalk and it looks great. =c3

Great day for my predictions! The Pays d'Aix group is fabulous, and I'm SO HAPPY Andrea is going to IDF!

It’s good for representation and all but I still thought Andréa was the weakest one in Miss Paris….

Is there a place for me to watch Miss Paris or at least a supercut of Andrea's full performance?

You know me, I always want to support my LGBT queens but if her walk isn't on point, I'm gonna be rooting for whoever has the fiercest walk. She's drop dead gorgeous and has one of the best faces I've seen all year, but of course that's not enough

I haven't seen Miss Paris but I'm going off entirely face so we full on disagree here haha. I hate to call girls ugly and prefer just like "not my taste" or something like that, but yeah, did not find her to be strong whatsoever lol. She also seems really thin and we know how I feel about that.

I'm going to strike the difference between you both and say that while I like her face, she is thin in a way that does worry me. The Paris group doesn't excite me, but I will be shocked if Claudia doesn't end up as my IDF winner in the end anyways.

Meanwhile, the Pays D'Aix group is so strong! I wouldn't mind any of them as Miss Provence, tbh. They're all fresh and transformable.

I'm also not that excited about the Paris group. Océane is pretty but not regional title worthy in a region as strong as IDF, and I like Adèle but only being a local 2RU is not very good. I think Claudia should win in IDF based on who we've seen so far in the region.

Yes! (j'ai pas oublié que je dois plus dire ton surnom ;/))) She was a contestant of Miss Cassis 2021 and the 2nd runner-up of Miss Côte Bleue 2021. In Miss Provence 2021, she wasn't a runner-up but didn't left empty-handed as she got the elegance award!

This year, she is trying in Languedoc-Roussillon and this wasn't her first try because she was the 1st runner-up of Miss Carnon 2022!

Agathe Andrieux is still my frontrunner for Rhône-Alpes. I don't think this year will be as strong as last year's Miss Rhône-Alpes group was based on the girls that I'm seeing winning local titles, so I'm sticking with Agathe for now.

Yes! That's what she told me, I told her not to lose hope because Amandine was runner-up to Miss Normandie before returning years later to win the regional title and then the national title. She is getting ready for next year apparently!

As you know I didn't like Agathe at all so this is great news for me >=p

Actually, I thought this region was also going to split off too and return to Miss France directly, like in 2015, given the split of Languedoc-Roussillon (I also thought Miss Paris would also send their representatives directly, not via the regional pageant). With Mayotte withdrawing, I'm now wondering if they would make another region split just to keep the number of contestants to thirty or thirty-one. Hopefully Mayotte would have a new committee soon, even in the last minute.
No more bashers in 2022, please.

Also, watch Dani Walker's video to know more on how bashers can kill with their words.

Thomas can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the split of Languedoc and Roussillon had anything to do with increasing the amount of participants at Miss France. I think it was just that Roussillon wanted to compete separately since it's a fairly distinct region culturally from Languedoc and since the two regions merged every representative they've sent to Miss France has come from Languedoc. They didn't split up any regional pageants to create a new participant when Tahiti took a year off during Miss France 2021, and since St. Martin-St. Barthélemy is returning this year, Mayotte withdrawing isn't going to limit the amount of regions represented compared to last year.

You bish! =/ =;))

Yeah, I know that you don't like her at all but I was so hoping for her to participate, especially after her statement last year. It's a shame that she doesn't participate because Miss Bretagne will probably be a weak batch again, she would have won hands down. Maybe she knows something fishy is about to happen? In that case, yes, it's better to wait at least another year...and she will appear more ready than ever. :hx :hx :hx

Actually, Mariana is right! :-D It is almost always the will of Miss France Organization when there is a territorial subdivision. Miss Languedoc-Roussillon wanted for several years to be divided again between 2 and it was only this year that Miss France Organization allowed them again to do it. It must be said that, yes, since the joining of these 2 historic regions in Miss France, no Miss Roussillon had won the regional title. In addition, and above all, Roussillon (which is only one department in France - that of the Pyrénées-Orientales) has a particular culture because it is the French Catalan area and all that. I think Miss France Organization has accepted this request this year because it knew that Wallis-et-Futuna would still not come back and that Mayotte would withdraw. As a result, 30 contestants will be in competition this year and not 29, you counted badly Mariana. haha This is one more than last year, I think Miss France Organization was not satisfied with the number of 29, it does not sound well. Lol I think you forgot Miss Saint-Martin-Saint-Barthélemy's comeback! :-P They are definitely back!!!

By the way, it's just my opinion but I think that Miss Paris will never send directly a contestant to Miss France again!

PS: I really hope Mayotte finds a new decent committee in the last minute, that's why I'm leaving them on page 1 for now. On the other hand, I deleted Wallis-et-Futuna. There's an 1% chance that they will be represented at Miss France 2023. Lmao

J'espère qu'on verra plutôt ma rousse Margot Boulard :D/

But yeah Bretagne is always fishy, if I were her I'd prefer to move to a different region entirely lol. Even though I don't love Agathe I admit she should've won over Sarah.
