That's what you get when you changed your status to high profile from being nobody in an instant. You're not able to adjust from that changed. This is not just for Olivia but for all human kind.

$120 million for the crown. Right there is your hint that this is a lie.

Since 2002, all Miss Universe winners received have tiara or replica version of the either Mikimoto, DNL or Mouawad crown. So far only Miss USA and Miss Teen USA winners have 2 versions of Mouawad crown. We hasn't saw the Miss Universe replica crown other than the Universal Power tiara from 2015-2018 Miss Universe winners.

Majority of pageant critics firing scathingly remarks and unleashing vilest of comments to some candidates, ironically, are not even beautiful themselves aesthetically and worst characterwise.

Dang. We still got some bitter Filipino's that cannot accept beauty won in 2012? I mean neither Olivia nor Jean had any business in that top 2. Olivia is pretty and she has the face for Universe, so I can at least make sense as to why she was in the final two. Jean? Now that is another story.

They both benefited from a weak year.

I’m not sure about whether this is true or not but one thing’s sure: although I love and support Olivia (especially during her Miss USA and Universe days), I’m not a fan of what she is doing lately (although I do believe that the incident involving her and the airline should’ve never happened). She is better off as a commentator/judge for Miss Universe, not a host.
No more bashers in 2022, please.

Also, watch Dani Walker's video to know more on how bashers can kill with their words.

She tried to be convincing people that she’s a famous rich celebrity
But the reality is, she wasn’t

She should’ve go to the Hollywood and debut as an actress
Then she could have earn money and kept her tiara

She need to realize her reality
She’s not a A-listed celebrity and need to stop spend the money
Credit card’s money isn’t your actual money.

Once a beauty queen and become an actress later,
that’s way graceful and easy to become a rich celebrity

Look Priyanka Chopra.
Priyanka was a Big F-O-U-R pageant winner, debut as an actress, so she’s now rich as f**k.
And Priyanka get married to her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas
But Olivia... is completely opposite.

She needs to follow Priyanka’s footstep, but doesn’t have to get married to an actor.
She needs to earn her own money by herself in Hollywood if she really want to be a rich A-listed celebrity.
Then she don’t need to ask money to men.

I don’t like her but I admit she is facially super pretty.
She really need to debut as a Hollywood actress.
But what a waste. She ruined her by herself
Don’t waste your damn pretty face.
It’s not too late, girl!
Go to the Hollywood NOW and take auditions endlessly

I'm with you on this. 2012's top 3 was bad. Venezuela was spectacular and leaps ahead of the rest... until she flunked the Q&A. Australia and Brazil were good not great.

I would have never voted both Phils and USA that far.

Honestly Venezuela did not answer her question any worse than USA. USA had the worst walk of the bunch and she kept advancing. Then that question about her brothers was just a bad answer. Australia was consistent throughout the whole pageant. Even though Venezuela flubbed her answer she still should have won. I have no idea what was going on with the judging that year.

Poland and Peru left behind in the top 16.

Why are you hating on her just because you don't like Filipinos? In reality, I think Philippines is an exception in that they have the classiest, nicest and one of the most deserving queens even if the fans are unruly and annoying. Janine deserved to win that year. Like you said, it was a weak year.

Hello. It's just my opinion. I'm not bitter. I just Janine and Ara were outstanding, even so than Venus, Shamcey and the rest. Of course their beauty didn't play a factor but I don't endorse physical looks especially when the girl lacks performance and preparation like Olivia. I wonder what you think of Japan 2012.

People seem to forget it is a beauty pageant. The history of the pageant was about beauty. Beauty is subjective but at the end of the day the outer beauty is important. That is why I chose Olivia over Janine. Olivia was probably the worst girl in the top 16 in terms of walking and stage presence. My problem with Janine was not so much Janine herself but the rather the Filipino fans. It becomes really hard to access the girl when over the top fans consistently push their delegate in your face. Literally thread after thread of hype. It is over the top and ridiculous. When you make a critique you are hounded by disgruntled Filipino fans. When they lose then the fans come out with wild accusations about other nations.

I did not care for either girl that year but in the end I decided to choose the winner based on beauty. I just did not see Janine as Miss Universe material. That is not bullying. It is just my natural opinion.

And I don't remember Japan 2012.

Dear, the ''critiques'' you are recalling are probably just bashing that you see as ''critiques''.

Plus, Olivia deserved to win as well - although she could've done so much more. Your ''hatred'' for Olivia yet trying to trash down ''Jean'' (which is actually Janine) is not helpful at all. If your problem was the Filipino fans, you could've praised their contestant while calling out their actions. And dear, the women who compete in Miss Universe are obviously Miss Universe material. All the top five of that pageant deserved to be there.

And dear, Japan 2012 refers to Miss International 2012, Ikumi Yoshimatsu, who couldn't crown her own successor due to death threats; the organizers feared for her life and decided that she stay somewhere else for her safety during the pageant. She's doing well now, although back then, I was not a fan of her (which obviously does not mean I am going to bash her, since what is to bash in the first place, when she deserved to win too?). Still, she improved and has defined herself.

Stop calling me dear. Are you 70 and my elder? If you look above I called her Janine in my last post. The fact that you're even trying to call me out on a thread that is literally a bash Olivia Culpo thread is so comical.

I never said I hated Olivia. If I did please direct me to that quote. I just said that I thought her performance at Universe as dismal. The same thoughts that so many Filipino posters have had. In fact I think they have said worse things about her than I have. Are we being a little bias here?

Who cares what I think of Janine? Why are you so concerned that I do not think she is Miss Universe material? You do realize that what people think of Miss Universe delegates is subjective right?

You should go back to 2009 and search Jewel Silver. You should see some of the comments that Filipino fans made about her. That woman had memes. It was so bad for her that dropped out of the pageant for "unknown reasons" but it was rumored that she was being bullied by Latina contestants.

Olivia is pretty and she has the face for Universe, so I can at least make sense as to why she was in the final two. Jean? Now that is another story.

They both benefited from a weak year.

Let it go. It has been almost a decade. Olivia won. She was the Miss Universe. Jean was not.

Olivia has hosted Miss Universe. She has appeared in Sports Illustrated.

Where is Jean? What has she done? =;)) =;)) =;)) =;)) =;)) :%)) :%)) :%)) :%)) :%))

Why are you hating on her just because you don't like Filipinos? In reality, I think Philippines is an exception in that they have the classiest, nicest and one of the most deserving queens even if the fans are unruly and annoying. Janine deserved to win that year. Like you said, it was a weak year.

Janine did not deserve to win that year. That is why she did not win.

Filipino fans are the ones that make me dislike their queens. I mean just look at this post. Someone is still bitter about a crowning that happened a decade ago? =;)) =;)) =;)) =;))

No I meant Japan universe. She was probably the strongest Miss Universe Japanese delegate in this entire decade and counting. The ones before her weren't as great too.

And it's wrong of him to bash Janine because of Filipinos. I hate Puerto Ricans but I don't deny the fact that Zuleyka was excellent in performance or that Estafania Torres was an exceptional delegate.

Likewise, he should see that Janine was excellent in her performance and poise when standing with the rest of the contestants as they waited for announcements and question and answer round. Her answer itself I think is phenomenal. She only looked bad during her closeup while waiting for the winner to be announced.

On the other hand, Ara was excellent too and won the swimsuit round but her Q&A delivery was weak. These two, I think, were even stronger than Pia and Catriona. Catriona was a winner because she was overpackaged and as for Pia, she won because everything clicked. USA messed up her final answer, so did Colombia. Of course, Pia's personality and humility can't be disregarded and which was also crucial to her win. This is why I think she's more popular than Catriona.
