The pinoy organizers are so silent. They are liars and so unprofessional.I feel bad for the girls that applied to this joke of a pageant
I do agree that expats can be included at this competition (as long as they are already naturalized citizens), but since the natives of the UAE find it offensive that only few girls from them have made it there, their point as natives should be understood. I still remember Kosovar fans being offended when their representative in 2016 was only an expat in Kosovo who came from Argentina, and that is understood since she’s not even Kosovar. I know this organization is trying to do “diversity” but unfortunately they forgot to realize that there are willing natives who want to compete (just like Reem, Marwa, and so on).itsrowdy801 wrote:ManMeat wrote:Is this a legit pageant? Nearly 90% of residents the UAE aren't native Emiratis, it really is a nation of expats, and most Emiratis are pretty socially conservative and would likely be unwilling to compete. It does run the risk of becoming a destination for country-hoppers if they don't vet their contestants well, and I heard the inclusion of expats have angered some Emirati people and contributed partially to the cancellation/postponement of the event, but in a nation where merely 11.5% of residents are citizens, including expats makes sense.

I can’t believe this, he even claimed the license for Bahrain and his first one (UAE) didn’t even push through at all despite the posts and photoshoots.פיקאסו wrote:JOSH YUGEN IS NOW THE national director OF BAHREIN :S

So this Pinoy organizer on Miss UAE should be tied-up and butt-fucked for hours for wasting the applicants' time. And what about Maggie Wilson? is this another one who wants to stay relevant because she was all all the Miss UAE acting like she is someone important but it never happened. Don't forge she called Catriona undeserving to get the Best in Swimsuit in Bb. Pilipinas.
