Miss Gwand Malaysia 2020 is Jasebel Robert, a 25 year old mass communications graduate from Kuala Lumpur, who was selected through a comprehensive virtual interview process and public vote.
Originating from a cross-cultural Chinese and Indian family, Jasebel is fluent in 4 languages including English, Malay, Mandarin and Teochew, and stands at an impressive 173cm. Her belief that knowledge is key, also inspires her to learn new languages and cultures including Thai and Spanish.
A true believer of aspiring to more than what she already is, she relishes in reading philosophies and biographies to facilitate a positive mindset and delights in passing this knowledge to others. Her advocacy focusses on equality and education for all regardless race, sex and status, coupled with the cessation of all war and violence, especially domestic violence.
With her bubbly personality, she embraces a regular work out routine and healthy lifestyle, as she believes that overall well-being is the essence of a joyous existence.

Jasebel describes herself as confident, humble, and willing to learn from her own mistakes. She believes that knowledge is the key and aspires to learn new languages and cultures including Thai and Spanish in future. Jasebel is not new to pageantry as she participated in Miss Universe Malaysia 2018 where she was adjudged as the third runner-up at the end of the event finale.
She dreams of starting a non-profit organization in the future to address food wastage in restaurants and homes, and develop a solution to help eliminate hunger in this country. She would also use the platform to advocate and focus on equality and education for all regardless race, sex, and status, coupled with the cessation of all war and violence, especially domestic violence. She is a true believer of aspiring to be more than what is already is.
