Ola fellow Missosologist!

We are done dressing up our forum and we will try our best to continue updating it from time to time. Just a little request though, please refrain using postimage.org as image hosting site since the image hosted there and being posted here are not visible to some of the readers. In effect, your thread is being shunned by your potential readers thus affecting the thread traffic - plus the fact that it's also an eyesore to someone encountering this broken images. Example is this:

We suggest to use links from IG, FB and https://imgbb.com/ (another image hosting site).

For concerns like tag upgrade, code related, account related, post not yet approved, request to pin a thread in GA or even suggestions, please feel free to post here. Other concerns like, degrading and racist post, spams, etc., just hit the report button as usual.

I always use postimage.org coz it is easier to upload and post from that photosharing site.

What could be the reason why some members couldn’t see the image?

Cant see some photos too.
Hope they can also adjust the size of FB image when posted here.

Btw, can you help why I cant find titasofpageantry in IG?

About that, I can't still figure out but based on what I read in phpbb support board, the problem is on postimage.org side.

imgbb is working here though. Good replacement for postimage (https://imgbb.com/).

Been looking for that also, but as of now, there is no extension that will auto-resize big images. Also images beyond 800px wide will not work anymore in the forum.

But, I've seen some UBB code that might do that. I'll just need to work it out on how to use it.

With regard to image resizing without further uploading to image hosting sites, this UBB code worked! Just quote my post to see how to use.

How about the avatar image size? It is no longer uniform. On mobile phone, the page looks distorted because of the avatar size. I don’t know how it looks on a laptop or desktop.

Current setting on avatar size works fine in desktop/laptop. But I agree, big avys are also distracting. Best avatar size that works both for mobile phone and laptop/desktop is 205 x 205. I just changed mine. I also changed the current setting in the control panel. It won't have an effect on current avatars though. But once you change yours, you'll see the restrictions if the image you'll put is beyond 205 x 205.
