TIGILAN NIYO NA NGA 'YANG MGA KALOKOHAN NINYO TUNGKOL SA SCAM PAGEANT NA YAN.
RISING MY A$$!
To be honest, while Miss Universe's problems are ridiculous, I don't think that pageant has advantages over Miss Universe. They can claim ''advantages'' in production, yet I am horrified by how they manage their local affiliate pageants (i.e. Miss Gwand Vietnam), or even their sister local pageant, Miss Gwand Thailand (an example was 2020). Their format is also an eyesore - the ties, whether deliberate or not, should be avoided by giving the judges more time to prepare, and plus, breaking them prior to the announcements.ajsy0203 wrote:Elyerno Zabagguri wrote:If MGI's popularity is rising, how come no international channels wanted to broadcast it live?

They are advantage over Miss Universe's new policy on married women and single mothers and the recent alleged results rigging at Miss USA 2022 where MUO suspended Crystle Stewart. They already shaded the 10 day pageant activities and less activities when Miss Universe was hosted in US.
As a pageant admin for years I should be able to recognize on my own way candidates that is genuinely doing well, that has potentials and can possibly go above and beyond a pageant competitions.
And you see me manifest this on several “hot picks” where my selections despite being amateur were mostly “spot on!” Be it Female or Male international pageants.
NOW here’s the what i observed the #PageantsInconvenientTruth
@missgrandinternational specially the last 3 years had surpassed and is NOW the PRIME pageant in terms of many aspects such as :
Stage productions
Social media presence
Social media activities
Pageant activities and productions
Consistent Quality of HD images on their social medias
The theme used “see the above image I posted”
To name a few.
I am aware many of you dislike MGI for some obvious reasons.
But also we must equally acknowledge the effort of the @missgrandinternational Team @nawat.tv and @teresa.mgi and Team to truly lead the pageant scene in uplifting its Global presentations.
Unfortunately I don’t see this year n any other International pageants at the moment.
These are the areas they need to catch up with.
Does this equate for MGI being number 1 pageant? Not necessarily but in the coming future that is a huge possibility with what they are coming up with right now.
What do you think guys? Do you agree? What are your thoughts on this? Did you noticed them too?

Now some pageant pages are appearing to shade Miss Universe over MGI like the recent swimsuit competition in Bali:
Critical Beauty: "The More I watch Miss G(rand) International, The More I lose interest at Miss Universe"
G*S* Beauty Alliance: Please read the caption
What is your opinion?

Charot.
Well, I understand this given that that pageant will do anything just to keep themselves ''number one'', while ignoring their own issues. I am happy that Miss Universe is doing its best in addressing its issues, while being straightforward and understanding. Of course, unfortunately, they aren't there yet for obvious reasons. Honestly, it was initially promising in its first year (although the title sounded a bit unoriginal) but the rest of the years just proved to me this was not worth it and while Miss Supranational was doing their best, this pageant is just addressing superficial stuff like good production (yet the format is awful, such as those ''ties'' that add distress, not suspense).ajsy0203 wrote:hokuto1129 wrote:asjys, lhat na lang ng bagay, ginawan mo ng issue. ayaw bang manahimik na lang. lalo mong pinasisikat yang bsurang pageant na yan! I just raising the concerns especially MUO is facing big problems like eligibility rule change to suspending Crystle Stewart after Miss USA 2022 scandal to Harnaaz's body issues to Abortion advocacy but MGI is not a spared from controversy especially Alina's claim of being scammed by N & MG Argentina's franchise holder and reports of food poisoning by some of the 2022 candidates that led to Miss Kosovo's withdrawal (other sources said that Miss Kosovo is apparently acting like Heather).
Yup, but I think it's because of how these fans hate Miss Earth for literally anything. Unfortunately, while Miss Earth is doing its best to improve (and being an Earthling, they still should continue doing so, especially on Miss Philippines Earth), that pageant is just addressing superficial matters and just wants to use publicity, not knowing that they are losing relevance as they keep doing awful acts just for the sake of being ''newsworthy''.ajsy0203 wrote:Mizzyshay12 wrote:I LOVE MGI THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO DONT LIKE MGI IS FILIPINOS BUT EVERYONE ELSE LOVES MGI AND WE FRANKLY DONT CARE IF FILIPINOS DONT LIKE MGI GO AND WATCH MESS EARTHWORM
Please don't drag Miss Earth on the topic, this is all about Miss Universe vs MGI since 2021.

I think Tien because she was doing charity works outside MGI org's initiative during her reign (like Angola and reportedly Ukraine border) and also possibly a popular star in Vietnam since Vietnamese people are so passionate to pageants since Phuong Khanh's win at Miss Earth 2018 and H'Hen's Top 5 finish at Miss Universe 2018. But others faded into the spotlight after their reigns ended, that was the reason why Claire Parker decided to take a risk by competing at Miss Universe Australia 2019 where she failed to place in the Top 10.

Okay. Can you do the honor of making a thread about this so called charity work to enlighten non-believers like us? We want proof and not just photo ops. I am sure you have time for this. We'll wait.
To be honest, I sometimes like their posts (especially on serious issues that no one is talking about) but they really have to stop adoring that pageant. Honestly, it was very promising on its first year (and I thought they were going to be a decent pageant) but the following years disappointed me, especially with Anea Garcia's sad case and the issues that would later happen every year. I wish that Critical Beauty was critical of this too and not caving in into that pageant's superficial activities.kurtij wrote:ISNT CRITICAL BEAUTY ASSOCIATED WITH GLOBAL.BEAUTIES?
OF COURSE THEY WILL DO EVERYTHING TO TARNISH THE REPUTATION OF MISS UNIVERSE.
THEY ARE ALSO LURKING HERE.
