I so love the color combination of the swimsuit!

Laura Clark
Wife, Mother, Activist, International Pageant & Model Search Director, Former NFL Cheerleader
A friend recently posted, “One of my favorite parent moments was when my daughter lost a pageant and hugged the winner and said, today is your day. I’ll try again next year.”
Pageantry is a sport, and just like in sports, the game only allows for one winner. It doesn’t mean the other players were undeserving, it only means that they were not the highest score at the end of the day.
Nevertheless, it hurts not to be the chosen one. It hurts to be first runner up - I’ve been there. You wonder about politics in the game. You wonder if the director didn’t like you. You question if the scoring was correct or unfair. We are all entitled to hurt and to wish for a different outcome.
“That's what learning is, after all; not whether we lose the game, but how we lose and how we've changed because of it and what we take away from it that we never had before, to apply to other games. Losing, in a curious way, is winning.” - Richard Bach
History also shows us that true character is what you do when no one is looking and how you act when you are behind in the game. My advice is take a moment to be disappointed, then game plan for your next goal. Maybe that’s a pageant, maybe it’s something else.
So while the public always praises the winners, I want to commend all the talented ladies who are going home without the larger crown. You are still you. Your purpose has not changed. Win or lose - your fight was just as meaningful and your story is still being written.

Being an ardent supporter of Alyssa, I am disappointed too with the way she reacted even if she did not say a thing. But as I said, I understand her. There is another queen who was also disappointed aside from Alyssa but I hope that after the pain subsides, they will be able to reassess and try again. Be better and stronger and more prepared.

Which one? The posts I've seen from others have all been good, or at least this is how I have interpreted them, though I have not seen posts from all. Alyssa has much to look forward to and will recover I'm sure. She still has a title, and once she gets into the swing of it, will likely feel a bit better.

AND USA DID FINALLY WIN THE MISS EARTH CROWN.
HOPE THEY WILL KEEP THEIR OTHER GOAL: TO HOST MISS EARTH IN US SOIL

And as everyone says, Marisa sealed the main crown after the final statement round.
I'm very satisfied with the result up to the elemental queens. Miss East Coast was also really happy with her achievement.

I believe Laura has decided to hold MEUSA every January from this point on with Orlando, FL playing as host. If Marisa manages to grab an elemental crown, that would only give Alyssa 6-8 weeks to take over the title. That’s why Laura didn’t even bother asking last year’s Miss Air to replace Queen Lindsey because of the little time left. In the event that Alyssa was asked to assume the title for several weeks, she just needs to get a reassurance from Laura that she’s still allowed to compete. If she’s told no, then I suppose she can turn down the offer and have one of the elemental titlists take over instead.

Can't say who coz I dont want to divulge the info shared to me by a friend. I hope Alyssa recovers soon and I agree, she has so much potentials. Just dont go to MGI.

My guess for the other disappointed Queen is either Illinois or Nebraska but my I am leaning more towards Nebraska because I know how passionate Angel Strong is for her advocacy and her dream to compete at Miss Earth. I hope Nebraska can try again coz I think she deserves to be at least an elemental title holder. Another alternative for her is to do Kaylee Carlberg to compete at the International Miss Earth.

Not sure about this info from earthfan. As far as I know, the Eco title is given to the fourth runner up. This year, East Coast got the title because she clearly gave the weakest answer as she didn’t really talk about `democracy’.

Not sure if it still is, but it used to be on their website, and several delegates I've known over the years have mentioned it being in their delegate forms/book, which is the only reason I say this. I asked around and have some information but do not know how to post a photo here to show what I've been told.

The Eco title was added in 2018 if I’m not mistaken. And it was never given as a special award as far as I know. I’m wondering if you are referring to the Beauty for a Cause award. That certainly fits your description.
