You need to eat objects if you can really eat it like plastics, cans, sands, metals etc because it's non living things. Vegetables or plants are living things just like animals and human beings.

Our skin, muscles and other organs will be eaten by smaller insects when they penetrate inside our coffin but what will remain is just our skeleton which is composed of hardened substances of the bone. But those lucky persons like the highly ranking officials such as the pope and leaders e.i. Ferdinand Marcos, their bodies are refrigerated and will not decompose due to humidity and insect infestations. Thus, those insects become us when they eat us up.
