REMEMBERING THE TOP 20 BY GROUPS AT Miss Universe 2019

Perhaps, this is the last top 20 by groups that we have seen under IMG. Maybe after that Miss Universe, the pageant will change for better (no more regions, no more confidently beautiful--there’re pageants that take these into consideration already) and we will see the fire at the Miss Universe stage again where the beauty and poise of the candidates stand out. Dear to dream, let’s wait and see how Miss Universe 2020 will evolve in the coming months. For now, no sign of Miss USA 2020 programing at all. Based on my knowledge the programming of the Miss USA is an anticipation to what the Miss Universe will be.

How would you form the top 10, 5 and 3?

I actually only disagreed on having Portugal and Venezuela in this Top 20, I was actually impressed

Add in Peru, France, Albania.

That would be my Top 5.

Then Puerto Rico, Nigeria, Philippines, Vietnam, South Africa, in that order.

As Pia explained in her recent online interview, Miss Universe is still a business and they need viewership from all regions, add to that the DIVERSITY that IMG and the entire world is pushing through.

As long as the regional placements stop at the first cut. Unlike Miss World where the finalists always have to come from 5 different continents. That is sooo BAD. WORST!
