Eco Activity Day 48
"ACTS OF KINDNESS COUNT.
In times of crisis or any problem at a large scale, it is normal to see that leaders, from the national to local, are at the helm. Just like the threat of COVID-19 affecting all nations, our leaders are admired for their national and local initiatives to halt the transmission of the virus. Due to the scope of the problem and limited funds available, there are times that all sectors could not be simultaneously served. What a relief if financially capable individuals voluntarily come to offer their help to ease the burden of the local government. As a gesture of appreciation to the lord for giving her another year of life full of blessings, Mrs. Elizabeth Dupaya, volunteered to donate 500 pieces of washable face masks bought from the Federation of Rural Improvement Club of Lal-lo. These masks are sold at a minimal cost. Today, I joined the group in distributing the donated masks to the residents of Fabrica, Malanao, Catugan, and San Lorenzo.
Burdens become light when people manifest acts of kindness, big or small. These acts, put together, make a big difference."
