^ Strong points you made there Tonys! I think people just have very high, almost impossible expectations of Miss Venezuela because... its Venezuela. On the first glance, personally, I think the way they are presenting themselves and how the ExCo has been packaging them is just a 180 degree turn from how Osmel does things. Is that good or bad? Maybe a little bit of both. Venezuela has lots its campyness and ultra over the top factor which lets the girls be seen as what they really are, but just gets them underwhelming. Two years is rather short for ExCo to prove themselves, and with Osmel essentially pulling out on designers, managers and girls themselves, I agree that visible positive changes are in sight. T

If the English only final screening is true, I think it is rather harsh and too exclusionary. Miss Venezuelas or most Latina misses are not exactly known for their English skills. They are known to be eloquent talkers with substance, and this round will take away the BEAUTY component of the pageant.

Megan Beci is overrated. Seriously.
Lisandra Chirinos looks weird, she's lost her spark she had during her Miss Carabobo days. She's looking like Osmariel Villabos on her shots!
Elizabeth Gasiba looks like a cross between Angela Ponce and a Anyela Galante.

Maria Estefanie Colmenarez - the clear winner from the batch of the photoshoots. She is giving off an Edymar x Miranda Kerr vibes!
Valentina Trivella is interesting. She looks 100% European to me.

Clarissa Ferrer looks like a Miss International already!

I agree with you in most parts and definitely believe these changes are positive, Osmel was drunk of power and his late decisions were very questionable
Also regarding Megan I'm right there with you.

Talking about the girls

Lisandra; I think its just bad bad bad styling decisions. But I see a massive potential
Elizabeth; I just love her. She is fresh and have the Osmel training (nobody can't denied the guy knows his stuff)

Maleli, I f*cking love her. She is already ready in most areas.
Valentina, I insist... She is going to have one of the crowns. Hopefully MW.

In terms of looks alone, for me the clear standout is Alejandra Conde. She has this whole Ninibeth Leal x Kendall Jenner look going. Fantastic. Once she is all glammed up, just based on beauty she can compete for any crown.

I'm soooo into her beauty.
She seems very reserve and surprisingly I recently learned that she is a medical student which adds lots of points.

On the other side, she also appears very reserve or at least from what can I perceived from her social media interactions. and yes of course I know this is just not a precise observation. But in these days we all know that social media performance is critical.

Also, her frame is not that strong so I would like to see how she standout from the rest. At this moment I think If you put her next to Lisandra she doesn't have a chance. Again these are just presumptions

In terms of looks alone, for me the clear standout is Alejandra Conde. She has this whole Ninibeth Leal x Kendall Jenner look going. Fantastic. Once she is all glammed up, just based on beauty she can compete for any crown.

I’m not completely sure but I think is around 5’7
I must say that even though I need to see more of her I’m not underestimating her at all. She is coming from sambil model school and she actually won (just like Isabella) that contest and I remembered that year were several stunning women in the batch, especially Andrea Romero who is a stunning tall brown skin professional model.



Andrea later was a finalist in the Pageant invented by Osmel. She ended up as 1st runner up.
