My overall impression on Miss earth India Tejaswini Manogna:
She is a very good candidate and in fact, the best since 2014. She has a glorious list of credentials: doctor, professional classical dancer, motivational speaker, ace shooter. She is a pageant veteran too. She has been consistently working on several projects in the last several years. She tried to win Femina and Diva pageants but in spite of not winning, she never stopped working on the cause. That shows her genuine desire to work for others. I am sure she will have many things to say during interviews at Miss Earth 2019.
However, she needs to tone it down a bit during talking about her resume. Sometimes, it may appear too much rehearsed. 'Young achiever, youth icon' - these adjectives may be too much. She needs to find a way to connect her ongoing mission to miss earth. Let her work talk for her. She is a sweet girl by nature, let the innocence work.
Her body - Not sure how far she improved since her 2017 Miss Diva stint. I think she needs to work on her body and get fit. There is a time constraint, so that's bit worrying. Miss earth is not a shallow pageant but still there is swimsuit round and separate list for beauty and all. She needs to make it among the top, only then she can penetrate the top 16/18.
As of now, I am confident that she can break India's drought and get into semis. I don't see her winning any of the crowns at the moment but her own personal efforts can guarantee a higher placement or even elemental crowns.
All the best, Tejaswini. You wanted this so bad and God has given you a chance. Give your best.
