If ever all of these first runners-up will compete:
Beauty-wise, I'll go for Angelica Alita, but she lacks the height, and her Q&A in 2016 was honestly quite underwhelming. HOWEVER, an improvement from her for 3 years is what I'm expecting from her. She is under Catriona's team and I'm sure she's having that 'preparation' as well.
If you'll go to the very Pinay features to be Cat's successor, Charmaine Elima has it. However, we all know that Q&A is her waterloo. If she considers competing again this year, she has to prepare for that. But hey, Maxine Medina (whose Q&A is the waterloo) was Pia's successor. If that scenario would repeat, Charmaine might be the one. For those who are asking about Charmaine's age, I think she just 25 this year. She's still eligible.
I don't see Vickie Rushton winning Miss Universe Philippines, but beauty-wise, I think she can go to Miss International.
Credentials-wise, Laura Lehmann has the edge among the former runners-up. We're not sure if she decides to follow Catriona's footsteps, of being a former Miss World Philippines going to Binibini. The difference is, Laura was already a Binibini alumna, so joining Binibini after Miss World is like a comeback and it's a big risk for her. Laura has a strong background when it comes to her educational background, her charity works (one of the best BWAP of a Filipina for me), being a TV host and a blossoming actress. SHE ALSO SPEAKS VERY WELL. I don't know why but Laura reminds me of Maxine as well for having the 'alta' features. She might not be appreciated by many pageant fans but for her to be Cat's successor is a VERY SAFE choice. It's going to be interesting as well if Cat will crown Laura twice, as Miss World Philippines, then Miss Universe Philippines.
If all four will join Binibini this year, I'll pick Laura Lehmann for Miss Universe IF she decides to join again. But I can see all of them winning a Binibini crown. This is going to be tough.
