When Denise quinones won.. all judges were americans except one judge. So who was the winner? an american.. of course PR is american.
Miss Earth 2015 in Austria - 99% were european... winner is Philippines... it doesnt matter who's the judge. they just dont want the philippines to win out of jealousy
and you want latino judges coz you want latinos to win. it's all relative.

We will know who will truly shines the most - a stand out who will linger in your mind for a long time. I also like the taste of these races when it comes to beauty contests.
I like it if most of the preliminary judges were PURE BLOODED Latinos, Americans and Europeans - at least 50% of all preliminary judges were Latinos, 20% Americans and 10% were Europeans the rest Filipinos. In the finals, I want the telecast judges would be 40% Latinos, 30% Americans, 10% Europeans and 20% Filipinos. There were at least 15 judges. I like Latinos and Americans preferences when it comes to selecting a BEAUTY QUEEN!

The selection of "contenders" to compose the judging panel is based on a set of evaluative verifiable criteria. It should not be based on the individual observer's whim and caprice. The selection process is deliberated at length and the final list released only after a thorough background evaluation is concluded. The whole process takes months to accomplish. Personal integrity, industry reputation, professional and academic achievements are some of the attributes where any hint or published record of any wrong doing disqualifies a possible contender to sit in the panel. A screening committee (ad-hoc) is set up where all the members of impeccable performance (in both their personal and professional pursuits) are tasked with the stringent selection process. I'm speaking from personal experience (not as a panelist) but as a former "tempo" runner of an functioning Corporate Affairs, Public Relations & Marketing Division of a major conglomerate that handles a national pageant under its wings. Talking of evaluative criteria, that deserve another topic for discussion.

Let's say they adhere to all the rules you mentioned or stipulated whatsoever my point is RACE... their races Latinos, Europeans, Americans which meets all your criteria and qualifications to be judges we want this kind of proportion to get the kind of woman who will be the winner.

but I prefer that way and regardless of that, at least I will have a peace of mind knowing that there is this proportion of judges Latinos, Europeans, Americans and Asians and I can always find good reasons why they choose this woman as the winner of the contest.

How selfish. Well you can be perpetualy tormented but your suggestion would float adrift. No one complains about a majority of Americans judging Miss Universe or Japanese judging Miss International.
You can buy peace of mind somewhere else.

First of all, if there were 2 Vietnamese judges in a panel of 9, that means a 22% chance over a 100% chance to emerge victorious. So there is no way that one judge (in Miss Earth) could sway the voting to have Miss Vietnam win. Let’s compare that to a judge in another recent pageant (Indonesia in MGI) who was also the trainer/mentor, designer, and friend of a lady (Indonesia) who ended up as runner up of the pageant (MGI). Add to that is the fact that he has openly campaigned for his ward on social media (of course those posts are now ‘conveniently missing’). Plus the runner up of the pageant also had an advantage being associated with another judge being her ND/ franchise owner of the local pageant. That’s 2 judges to her favor over 5 judges and a whopping 40% chance of swaying the votes to their bias. Ring a bell? Let’s also remind ourselves of an Alpha(BIG FOUR) pageant that had a national director sitting on the judging panel for 2 consecutive years with her ward making 2nd princess in those years. Now that is what I would call an unfair advantage.Source:

There were 2 Chinese judges in Miss Earth 2018 and only one Vietnamese (Linh San).

For instance:
1. Why not question Miss International whose judges are primarily Japanese?
2. Why not question Miss Universe whose judges score both the preliminary and final events...meaning if they find a a favorite early on, there’s a pretty good chance that woman will win in the end. I find it unfair.
3. Worse, Miss World whose invited judges pretend to choose the winner when it fact we all know Julia will choose whoever she wants in the end.
Does the TS really believe Carousel has that much money to spend on inviting foreigners judge every event? There are 6-8 judges present in every preliminary event and at least 8-10 judges during the finals. That’s an average of 28-32 judges. Where will Carousel get the money to pay for a first class seat for every judge, especially for those traveling from halfway around the world.
Just stop with these insane suggestions.
