Congratulations, Michelle! Making the top 15 and winning two special awards are well-deserved.
Very charming and confident, you have one of the best catwalk among the candidates. As expected, your personality, gift of gab and wit made an impact on the girls, the organizers and even on the global audience. Had Michelle got in the final five, she could have answered the question very well.
In my opinion, there were stunning semi-finalists who also deserved to be finalists, the likes of Canada (quite sexy), Brazil (also very sexy, with a slight resemblance to Ms. World 2002 from Turkey) and France (very attractive black girl), Portugal (also of color, and pretty) and Russia. Surprisingly, Vietnam and Myanmar earned spots in the semi-finals edging out Thailand and more facially stunning and shapelier girls such as Colombia and Puerto Rico. On the other hand, I have some criticisms regarding the way the Q & A for the top 5 was handled: somewhat disorganized. The female host should have been told beforehand that there would only be one question for the finalists (such as Turkey and China) and the girls were provided interpreters. The Q & A did not give due attention to the finalists' ability to express themselves well. Another disturbing scene was when the camera spanned across the front seats where the judges were sitting, any viewer would think if the judges were really assessing the girls carefully or not. Finally, the winner, Ms. China struggled in answering and when she answered the question, it was not focused on the thought of the query. Misses Australia, Italy and Turkey gave better answers. Ms. Australia to me should have been the winner. Some may question how did Ms. China win? Others may perhaps agree with the judges' decision. Based on the results of the contests from 2015 to the present, the Ms. Globe organization preferred Asian beauties.
