Talent is the most anticipated part of the competition. It has a lot of ratings. I think they should also allow trans women to compete.
Proudly SOUTH AFRICAN!

Talent is the most anticipated part of the competition. It has a lot of ratings. I think they should also allow trans women to compete.
Then just officially call it a talent show or talent competition, forget the evening gown and just make it 50% talent and 50% interview; they should stop pretending they are like anything close to a pageant or anything remotely close.
Don't get me wrong its not that I hate what they are doing. I just don't like that they still market as some type of pageant even if its remotely.
Like just revamp it completely and make it a full schorlaship program you have to win via a talent show and a portion of interviews; that's all. It's obvious they been wanting to do that for decades now, just do it and be free. I hope I'm making sense of what I mean
This you miss this part?
Miss America is no longer a BEAUTY PAGEANT, it is a COMPETITION

What I mean is that they still have certain parts of it that are still part of when it was a pageant, they should just take away the evening gown part and stuff like that and just completely revamp it. Not just partly. It looks akward that they will keep things like Evening Gown in what is essencially a talent show/job interview; maybe when we see it televise it will more harmonious. But reading it, it gives me a mental picture of this weird hybrid intermediate competitions. It's not shade, its just that maybe in the final night it will make more sense.
I'm guessing now forums won't follow it or report on it now though right?
