She won’t be judged because of her wardrobe or national costume either. Should they not care about those things either? It’s all in the details. That sash evokes more prestige and could be more impactful. Why take something that already looks nice and make the effort to downgrade it? As a strategy it doesn’t make sense to me. Instead of looking at her, my eyes immediately went to the sash.
