Remember and it's always being explained by co-host in the Miss Universe competition that each lowest and each highest scores are being eliminated and the rest are averaged so Carolina Herrera's score didn't have a huge impact overall at all. In the end, Carolina Herrera's scores were just a distraction but not credited. The Miss Universe Organization did a good job in researching a good equation on how to take away biases and incorrect input of score. Just like what happened to Miriam Quiambao wherein, one judge scored her only 2 points something in one category which is way way below. After the competition, the judge said honestly that he made an error punching in Mirriam's score. However, it didn't matter because the judge's score was just eliminated since it was the lowest score Mirriam received and one highest score from her was also eliminated but the other scores were averaged.

Show us the link please. The proof. I never thought that there's someone here in Misso that is MORE POWERFUL than even the employees and officials of Carousel Productions who can access the files of SGV and Co. - Earnst and Young that collected, validated, audited and verified the ME judges' scores!
And to think that some officials - even Ramon Monzon, Lorraine Shuck and Peachy Veneracion - were actually losing bets over the result, when they could just ask you to give them assistance in peaking at the score-sheet and see whom the (Filipino) judges are favoring.

Have a look at what famous fashion designer Carolina Herrera did back in Miss Universe 1997 by giving her home country Miss Venezuela with highest 9.90 points in almost all rounds and giving low scores to other countries (specially women with darker skin tone like India, South Africa, T&T)
