Ric Galvez wrote:Missosology is a community. We have contributors, editors, correspondents and photographers from all over the world. It is in diversity that we draw our strength, and is the very foundation of the organization. We were once a small dot in the world wide web, but because we embraced diversity, we’ve grown to become the world’s leading beauty pageant-related website.
Unfortunately, being a diverse community has its drawbacks, too. Missosology has aired its opinion over the results of Miss Earth 2017. However, it doesn’t mean that a corresponding action should be undertaken. Missosology has been vocal with its frustrations not just with Miss Earth, but also with other Big5 pageants. Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss World and even Miss Supranational had questionable results in the past.
Let me officially state that we are not removing any beauty pageant from the Big5. Missosology still recognizes Miss Earth as one of the major international beauty pageants. We worked hard for the concept of Big5 (previously Big4) that has already enjoyed years of stability. We are not in the business of removing and adding pageants by whim, and that makes the Big5 concept and ranking reliable.
I do apologize if the actions of some of our admins and members have caused confusion. Most of the news and events that we cover happen in real time and sometimes our overzealous editors and contributors make mistake. I take this opportunity to own up and apologize for the wrong information regarding the wrong news posted on our Facebook page about the Philippine delegate at the recently concluded Miss Globe 2017 pageant. Further to that, I also apologize for the wrong information posted in our official forum regarding the removal of Miss Earth from the Big5 pageants.
Missosology had its own shares of ups and downs. We had our own worst moments but we always bounce back. Our passion for pageantry and our dedication to share to the public the beauty of beauty pageants are the things that strengthen and inspire us. We remain committed to the very core of Missosology: reporting and analyzing beauty pageants.
We look forward to giving you all the best news and latest scoops in the world of pageantry as we await four other major international beauty pageants to unfold in the weeks to come.
Thank you.

Now, by creating such issue as if its a big deal, I could say it will take time to make me fully appreciate Misso again. I actually lost my appetite for the upcoming Miss Universe season.
Bad move for Misso. Whoever those people who created this issue, I want to say, I'm disappoint for you immaturity and lack of professionalism. If this is a professional organization, or a company. You are all going to be fired. You ruined the reputation of Missosology. That is all.
