Who says that? Let MEO Carousel do their thing. Whatever segment was taken off would have to be compesated by another segment that shall keep the telecast worth its keep. Come to think of it...the only reason why we want the top 16 to be announced is to recognize more candidates. Naming the top 16 in the three categories could actually name more candidates in totality--could even reach as many as 30 delegates recognized in one single night. This is now the chance of most african canditates who figured most in the interview portion to be recognized. Just imagine a top 16 in intelligence category and seeing almost all of the african deligates coming down the stage instead of just one delegate recognize in the regular top 16 in the past editions. Isn't that amazing to those countries involve? And for the many beautiful Latina's and European delegates to figure most of the top 16 in the beauty of face--will that make them proud to belong into this category?
So for me, as long as they recognize the best in every category--it is alright to go straight to the top 8. It would be so nerve-wracking to wait who will advance to this elite 8.

It's nothing worse than having 70 delegates parade in national costume, swimsuit and evening as part of a five-hour show!
You know which pageant I'm pertaining to..

Unfortunately some netizens were not happy with the possible changes of the 1st cut of the competition. They think Top 8 1st cut was too hard to swallow unless they will watch the livestream coverage of this year's pre-judging competition.

Too early to count Karen out yet! Unfortunately, you're just a hapless armchair observer. You're not a judge it's everyone's game at this point.
