When I told my Greek flatmates last week that I wanna learn Greek so bad, they surprisingly kept saying "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Plz dont!!!!!! "!! The same thing did happen with Russian, Chinese and German ! R these above languages really that hard?

Anyway, I used to be like the others before college, however my sociology teacher when I was a freshy scolded the whole class and told us the difference between a language and a dialect. From then on, I usually spread the word about it and debate over it. However, the linguists are still debating about this issue. Meantime, I will stick to what my teacher has imparted.
