Miss USA/Miss Universe Flower Bouquet

Postby Dustin&Kandice » Wed May 17, 2017 9:41 am

I was watching the 2017 Miss USA pageant and noticed the bouquet given to the 2nd and 1st runner-up. It seemed like only 5-6 stems bundled up and looked kind of pathetic.

I know that they are just bouquets and not that important, but I couldn't help but wonder at the cost-cutting that has been going on. Couldn't they have invested in a much nicer and grander bouquet. Even the winner's bouquet is not as grand as before?

Not trying to be nit picky here but just some thoughts.

for practical purposes. often than largw bouquets end up in the hotel rooms or given away and not taken home by the runners-up. a 5-6 stem bundle is a sensible size and increases the likelyhood that the girls would keep them or hand carry them on their next destination.

I agree, the flowers look sad to look at. Pathetic in deed.
It doesn't matter where the flowers will go after the coronation, whether it will be left behind the hotel rooms or whatever, the flowers should considerable size to add glamour on the show.

Did the contestant have an after party? I think they are saving costs, the girls stayed in LV just for 10 days, & they immediately sent back home except the winner.

I still remember in the news that Venus' small bouquet of flowers brought back in the country after the pageant. Added bonus she presented the bouquet during the post-pageant interview in Vegas.
