Then Miss Universe Sweden should send a replacement for her. I hope it's either Moa Oberg or Frida Fornander. You know they're demure and simple type, qualities that MI Org is looking for in its participants and besides Moa is MAPW 2013 4th RU while Frida is Miss Planet 2015 1s RU
She should have told her National Director before she flew to Japan so that they could find a replacement for her.

Well, Moa represented at MI last year (And didn't place) so she can't represent again, I guess. Frida has a different task under Miss Universe Sweden organization, she is currently a National Director of Miss Universe Teen Sweden. However, generally I agree with the replacement - if the MI rules allows it. Note sure about that.

She also states that she had problem to leave the pageant due to the contract and she felt she was owned by MIO, etc. But she doesn't want to offend anybody in her blogg she admit that she misunderstood what the pageant is about.
I can possibly translate the whole article, it is quiet long but it is very interesting to read. Isabella is indeed very intelligent and very caring about position of women and their equality to men. I think she should go to Miss World because she is a good type for it, she would rock the "beauty with a purpose" ting.
In fact I respect her decision.

Anyway, I personally believe that Fröken Sverige owned by Panos Papadopoulos is the only local Swedish pageant that can handle contest for MI Sweden because both MI and FS have similar qualities that they look for in their winners and that is simplicity, being demure, and professionalism/educated. Just visit these FS links and you'll see what I mean http://www.frokensverige.se/index.php?p=rekrytering and http://www.frokensverige.se/index.php?p=personlighetstest. Also, both organizations removed the swimsuit competition.Rauma wrote:In her blogg Isabella finally says the reason why she left MI: She became depressed and psychically exhausted, she clearly states that the concept of the competition was a surprise for her, she felt that all those lunch parties and dinner parties and hanging around for media was degrading. OMG - Google translation is probably really far from that what Isabella wanted to express.
Generally she was so surprised (shocked) by the taught timetable without enough time for sleep, rest and meals that firs her body started to give up and than she got also psychical breakdown. She could handle that and just jump of/resign - her Swedish agent approved that but her final problem was, that she had a problem with the local Japanese organizer. I was shocked myself when I read that they didn't want to give her back her passport. I mean - don't they have their passport with them all the time? I can agree that she misunderstood the concept, she might be weak or unstable but as soon as I read about kept passport it is fishy to me. Every person living in a democracy has to have her own decision right and also right to care her own personal documents. But that's us you know - Norther Europeans - the human rights and equality advocates, people who feel that 7hour sleep and eating lunch and dinner during an hour break is a standard. And we feel it should be a standard everywhere, we're not ready to give it up.
That's IMHO the general reason why Nordic girls don't do a cut at the international pageants nowadays: their determination to win is not that huge that they would leave they norms and standards for it. They don't enhance their looks (nose jobs boob jobs) before the international pageants, they don't give up their private life for their "transformation" and they don't give up their standard needs during the pageant either.
