Supermodel International (formerly Supermodel of Asia Pacific) is an international modeling contest, established by Pradit Pradinunt in 2010. The Supermodel International, with headquarter in Bangkok Thailand, with 50 executive members from all around the world cooperating with the Supermodel International Organization holds their local national competitions for Supermodel International Contest every year.
Supermodel International is a world-class fashion tourism and cultural event held to promote the features, resources and people located in popular tourist destinations. Focusing on the philosophy of natural, healthy, fashionable, environmental and sustainable development, it meets not only the entertainment and leisure demands of the general public, but also the national tourism development policies and financial needs of the local government.
Supermodel International is a leading international cultural exchange event integrating female beauty, talents, general quality and cultural communication, which is an epitome of the international cultural and fashion trends throughout the year. It belongs to all girls in the world. Its existence and development contributes to the society, and drives the civilization process of human beings. “Fashion, civilization, health and harmony” is the defined theme of Supermodel International Contest.
Due to the overwhelming success of Supermodel of Asia Pacific 2011, Pradit Pradinunt, the founder is delighted to broaden the scope and footprint of the 2012 contest, to make it a truly global event.
Thanks to the many messages of support from around the world he received, and a strong demand from other countries wishing to participate, we have now decided to expand the footprint after extensive consultations with our partners in Thailand. We are thus delighted and excited to rename and rebrand the contest to "Supermodel International" and this year’s contest Supermodel International 2012, will be welcoming over 50 contestants from across the Globe
Supermodel International 2012 , the 2nd edition of Supermodel International contest, is scheduled to be held in August, 2012 in Bangkok, Thailand. The contest has been conceptualized as a prestigious event.Supermodel International is the first fashion and cultural exchange project in Thailand, with independent intellectual property and independent operation rights. The sponsorship of contest and the involvement of over 50 countries in the world make up the solid foundation of market operations for this branded competition event. It innovatively builds up the industrialization model of “expanding international cultural and fashion development, and meeting worldwide demands, based on the beauty resources across the world”.
Supermodel International 2011 Winners
Bunga Jelitha of Indonesia won the first edition of the Supermodel International held at the Royal Orchid Sheraton in Bangkok, Thailand on September 19th. A total of 33 super models from 20 countries took part including two top Thai models. The Supermodel International 2011 was supported by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT)
