I was vocal from the start that I wish Queenie could have sported a mint-green to bluish gown just to give a stiffer competition (during the Finals Night) between her and Janelee. Don't get me wrong, the red gown is uber pretty but if we see it in a rather strategic perspective, then I will opt for a mint-green to blue gown.

Well i don't how Carlos Alberto(the designer of that gown, the same of Zuleyka MU06) got inspired to do the gown, but i know that Janelee told Carlos that the color she wants for her final gown is blue one of her favorite colors and besides this is not her final gown, is another one.

Look at Azra Akin, and Ivian Sarcos they wore gowns who doesnt really match with the bluecrown.

Puerto Rico blue gown is nice, but with blue crown will be too much, because gown is so full of details already, she will look like one big MW crown

I just read it, though it's not fully "confirmed" as st8tement.... but it appears to be a prelude of what she's gonna sporting on the final night. I'm not gonna post it here (xempre, di ntn dpt ibgay ang baraha ntin kgad) pero bigyan ko kau ng ichura nia sa pic: tagus-tagusan ang peg na pongpagong ang necknekers, undeniable MC signature ang detalye. I 100% agree with this one. I expected her hairstyle to be a well bodied with natural wavy summer hair. I dunno. During her MWP stint, the bun fitted her well (maybe due to the fact that it is part of her over style with the terno). However, the bun made her look 10 years older during the Designer Award. Really weird.

It's okay. Anyone can commit mistake.. Hopefully not , The gown doesn't look glamorous and it will blend with the others. Yes, the see-through effect will emphasize her sexy bod but for my taste it looks like a cheap-room-see-through-curtain.
I prefer the mint green gown above. It will look heavenly in stage!

I prefer the blue gown for the coronation night so it matches too with the blue crown. I think Miss World, just like Binibining Pilipinas, is just a culmination of the pre-pageant activities or fast tracks. MWO has already chosen the winner prior to the coronation. It's just a formality I guess.

Thanks Boricua. I'm quite familiar with Carlos Alberto's works especially with Zuleyka's. When I read about CA doing Janalee's gown for the WFDA, I think most Puerto Ricans don't like it. I'm half-hearted on this gown for the WFDA but definitely in for as Final Evening Gown. I hope you can give us a hint about Janalee's gown come Finals. A picture perhaps so we can have a look at it.

Me too. But too bad its not for the Finals night. I have no detailed take on this gown but for my personal view, there is something lacking with this design for the WFDA. Most winners in the WFDA are somewhat avant garde.
