Year after year, Mexico gives a lot to talk in beauty pageants, after a gray 2011 and an uncertain 2012, our country is back with a more than excellent group of stunners willing to snatch the 3 crowns given in Nuestra Belleza México... Now let's meet a little bit more our top 5...
1-Verónica Sánchez / San Luis Potosi Stunning bone structure and eyes! She surely is one of the most beautiful girls in the batch, but I dunno if she fits the beauty queen label. Still on of the best girls in the bunch and can pull a surprise. She needs to project a bit more confidence. (By Tsatsabi) Even if I am not 100% sure about her, I admit she is one of the most complete girls in the bunch, she's been channeling the beauty queen aura successfuly, however I am not sure if this beautiful face is more than a perfectly "editorial" one and can become a top notch queen! 2-Gabriela Prieto / Chihuahua The face of a Miss Universe, everytime I see her I get a flashback to Laura Elizondo, Ximena Navarrete and a bit of Priscila Perales, there's a room for improvement in her body and in her overall aura, but she is, facially speaking, the most adecuate girl for one of the national crowns. 3-Lucero Montemayor / Nuevo León 2 Stunning girl she gives me Cynthia de la Vega chills! Love her mysterious eyes and how she ended up not winning her state is beyond me! So far the most complete, she was flawless in one interview I saw of her. To summarize: stunning face, good body, great height, great communication skills and projection, so MU material! She is it! 4- Diana Castro / Baja California Sur Diana Castro was baptized as our catwalk diva of this edition. She knows how to walk the runway without a flaw in her walk. Nobody can deny that she has strong stage presence due to her towering height, poise, hair, and harmonious body. Aside from her very regal features, however, she has a flaw in a very important category. Once Diana speaks, I just get scared of thinking that she might enter the Top 5; I am not so sure that a lisp can vanish. (By Kokin)
5- Jéssica Amor / Aguascalientes Jessica Amor is the definition of sunshine. This girl illuminates the room with her enigmatic smile. Believe it or not, however, this she has one of the most timid tones of voices I have heard; she needs to work on her average oratory. Another thing she has to work on is her big thighs. Despite the fact that she clearly has a workable body, she may be seen as too thick for a beauty contest, due to the thighs; but it's nothing that a few months of gym cannot fix.(By Kokin)

Wow Pepelú!! That banner is awesome!!!! I want to say thank you to ALL Mexicans and international friends that took part of this!... I have MORE than 5 faves for this year but I have to see them in the concentration before making a final judgement!... The girls I have on my radar are: CHIHUAHUA, AGUASCALIENTES, COLIMA, NUEVO LEÓN 2, JALISCO, SAN LUIS POTOSÍ, VERACRUZ and maybe some others I forgot!!!... This is like Christmas time for all Mexicans!!!

Great JOB José!!!!.... I'm glad of having an amazing designer in the "Mexican clan", I've said so over and over!!!(and I'm not tired of saying the same)... I think we have a consensus on the frontrunner... but with this year level I think we will change our mind when the concentration begins, there's a thin line that separate the girls in the top 5-10... overall pretty good, CONGRATS to all!
Out of the Top 5, my eyes go straight to Chihuahua and Aguascalientes. Out of the Top 15, I'd like to see a bit more from n. 7, Jalisco. She looks very beautiful judging by that picture. Numbers 6 and 10 are also interesting!

LOL they are two of my faves!... and another one is number 6 (LUPITA PARRA) one of the hottest bodies if not the HOTTEST in the competition... and I think number 7 (Karen Siordia) is facially beautiful but she lacks body beauty, however, she's from the major powerhouse Jalisco, I want to see how she looks during concentration! I can't believe u like Karen Padilla... I soooooo don't like her LOL!... but well, u tend to like more the "underrated" girls... Jessica Amor has huge potential to become a major weapon, however I hope the judges (and Lupita Jones of course) see the same!

yes, I know what you are talking about... I am more a "Elisa Nájera" guy instead of "Ximena" one but I agree in the part that Gaby have to prove everybody wrong because a lot of people say she's boring and weak... Like too soft and bland for a beauty queen...

Jose, I am speechless when I see your banners. They are one of the best I have seen; they are simple, yet very professional, unique, and creative.
To the people that are not feeling Chihuahua as of now, AMEN. The girl is gorgeous, no doubt about that; but she she comes off to me as common and boring, especially in interviews. There is always room for betterment, however, and this is why I haven't discarded her from my Top 5.
The girls whom I have crowned are Nuevo Leon 2, our beautiful Lucero Montemayor, and San Luis Potosi, Veronica Sanchez. I like the comments that were made about these last two girls mentioned; they are very on point.
I am psyched about this edition. We have one of our best levels, ever since 2007 (Elisa's year), for my taste. My only hope is that we won't mess it up, with having so many to choose from.
