I don´t think this year I don`t expect competition to appoint Tara for Miss Universe or Miss World but I prefer it in Miss Universe. Tall, and a prototype model and fresh youthful beauty. I love and she was first runner up in Miss Teen Globe 2010.

Tara Emad, 18 years old, was rumored to have gotten the strongest petition to represent EGYPT in Miss Universe 2012. Tara Emad is a famous Model from Egypt. She has been crowned as Miss Teen Egypt 2010. Also in the same year, she placed 1st runner-up at the Miss Global Teen 2010 and was also crowned as Teen Queen of Africa 2010.

I am Christian from Egypt, and it is not soooo bad as you want to see it:) yes we all were shocked but now we try to see if they are keeping their promise. if not we are on to Tahrir AAGAIN.!!! The president knows that if he goes to far into extremism people will not bare it . Egyptian are not Talibans or extremist when it comes to religion , rather mild:))) We all hope to be on Miss World or MU and there is hope. Give us just some credit. Maybe this is why all of us fans of Tara Emad are urging her to go for it, it is to show to the world that we in Egypt still free and we are on the good way of democracy. She is our role model how girls should be: very clever, good student, good looking, model and charitable person, speaks several languages and she still modest and down to earth. Wish us all luck and please support us to send Tara or other Egyptian girl to either pageant Love & peace from Egypt !!!!

Thanks for sharing Martha, I'm just concerned because he was trying to reduce the power of the military immediately after he came into power he must have some long-term plans to have such an agenda and another thing is over 50% of the popluation voted for him into power that says a lot about the policital orientiation of the people , they kicked out bad man to bring in another ? who is/was the lesser of evils, guess we'll just have to wait and see anyway I'm a big Tara Emad fan, I really hope she'll get a chance to compete

I am not much into politics so can not comment on his reduction of military power....but it is not true that more than 50% of Egypt population voted for him, it is 50% of the once went out to vote which comes to apx 20 millions. out of 80 some is nothing;) but he is president and we should give him chance but not give up our fight for better tomorrow. And MU & MW are one of this "fights" . I just wish people are not so much afraid how the new Egyptian establishment is going to react, I hope they rather stand up to their believes and face it by choosing new Miss Egypt we could win our first battle!!!
