This cause has my support. I am very much disappointed with Indian MU representatives for the past 2 years. I don't want to see another Usoshi or Vasuki representing India.

I agree with you guys. Beauty is a top priority in these pageants, after all it is a beauty pageant. Vasuki and Ushoshi might be smart girls, but that doesn't make them eligible for BEAUTY pageants like MU or MW. You think Sushmita Sen, being a former Miss Universe would know that in these pageants beauty is the first thing they look at above all else. Well, here's hoping 2012 is better.

Oh please! The land on the other side of the ocean is always green. When Femina had its control over Miss India Universe, we desperately needed someone else to grab it from Femina and now we want it back to Femina! Let us not forget the fact that even Femina sent some women who wouldn't be considered eligible to represent India in a beauty pageant, most notably Amrita Thapar, Ekta Chowdhary, Neha kapur, Tanvi Vyas, Nikita Anand etc... No matter which organization takes control, let them learn to select women who have normal, eyes, nose and smile and who could be forced to work their arses out to shape up their bodies. Without this, if only politics comes into play while choosing the winners, no matter how many hands the franchise change, the end result would be a road to nowhere.

In my opinion, we all should get together and draft a request to Kingfisher Calendar to take the MU Franchise. Every year, with their calendar event, they can send the winning calendar girl to the Miss Universe pageant.

I would love to see Angela Jonsson, Tena Desae in the MU pageant.

Angela Jonnson, born in Chennai, India. Her father is from Iceland and mother is from Mangalore, India

Tena Desae, born in Bangalore to a Gujarati Father and Telugu Mother

Angela Johnson is perfect. I think whoever has the MU franchise should approach her. I have a feeling she will do really well. Anglo-Indians in the past have done well in intl pageants.
