1.) If a new medicine were developed that would cure arthritis but cause a fatal reaction in 1% of those who took it, would you want it to be released to the public ?
NO. It's too risky. I would rather go through arthritis than go through the possibility of death(even in its smallest chances of 1%) But if it is something like a new medicine for AIDS or CANCER rather than Arthritis, I might consider it in the condition that it undergoes an extensive research to address the 1% chance of fatality.
2.) Which gender do you think has it easier in our culture and why?
Although our generation have witnessed improvements and progressions in terms of gender equality, still I think men has it easier than women because they didn't have much to prove not like women who in history has to constantly and vigilantly struggle to prove they are equals.
3.) Would you be willing to murder an innocent person if it would 'somehow' end all hunger in the world? and who?
No. You used the term "somehow" which means "not totally" and even if it totally ends the world hunger It's against what I believe in. I'd rather sacrifice myself than murder someone to end world hunger.
4.) If the person you were engaged to marry had an accident and became a paraplegic, would you go through with the marriage or back out of it?
Yes, because he is still the same person he will just be unable to walk. I love this person so much that I'm willing to spend the rest of my life with him. It will not bother me at all.
5.) Someone very close to you is in pain, paralyzed, and you 'somehow' know for certain that they will die within a month. He begs you to give him a fast-acting, painless poison so that he can die. No one else would ever know. Would you? why?
Since he is close to me I'll talk him out of that thought. I figure if he would see how we love him and how many people wants him to live I guess it would give him more than enough to hold on and fight for his dear life. What if a cure or a miracle happened within that 1 month, you'll never know.
6.) Would you be willing to have your left middle finger surgically removed if it 'somehow' guaranteed you immunity from all diseases?
Yes, even if it is "somehow" than "totally". I'd rather have a missing finger than a missing vital organ, or Cancer or AIDS or any fatal disease. Wouldn't you?
