Some of the other ones are coming as first and second runner ups from Miss Bolivar, Miss Lara and a couple others from winning, or/and placing in the top positions in international pageants like Miss Globe International, Miss Tourism International and so on...Also a few of the girls are professional models, like calendar model, Barbara Ochoa, for example... We will soon know who the rest of the girls are because MV will be on August 30.

Too bad. This year's MV will definitely be poorer without her. The candidates I've seen thus far are so frustratingly mediocre... they don't even look like beauty queens. From the top of my head, I think Orianna--the proposed Miss Distrito Capital--looks like an average, run-of-the-mill Kohl's model with no interesting features whatsoever, except perhaps her squinty eyes; The rumored Miss Miranda, Claudia Barrata (sic?) looks like an oversexed Victoria's Secret model with little personality and no brain; Miss Aragua--Elian or something--with her abnormally tall bearing looks more like an Olympian than a Miss Venezuela, and her face appears to be swollen; Miss Carabobo looks so dismally plain it's actually sad; Miss Zulia looks like a transgendered creature from Mars or Pluto; The rumored Miss Trujillo, Desiree Zambrano, looks like a clown even without make-up on, I can't imagine what she would look like WITH make-up on!; Miss Tachira, Ivanna Coleman, looks like a has-been nanny and shouldn't have won Miss Tachira in the first place.... With these ladies as candidates of the so-called most prestigious beauty pageant in the world, Osmel Sousa had better perform a miracle by transforming them into Marylin Carrillo--and soon!

I like Miss Bolivar, but I feel like black girls always do bad in MV.

Zulia is my ultimate favorite, which could change after Gala de la Belleza and those mini competitions such as Rostro L'bel. I think Nohedy Olivares is the hybrid of the blasphemed goddesses Marthina Thorogood and Veruska Ramirez!!!!



Her beauty is outstanding and very reminiscent of the venezuelan queens of the 90's! Plus, Zulia is usually one of my favorites states in Miss Venezuela! Can't wait to see her on stage!!!!!
