I love MI! In its early years, MI was the number 1 rival of MU. The production might be boring but I love it, why? Because the tradition continues. MI crown is also beautiful! I love its uniqueness. I just hope MI stays in Japan coz Chinese editions may have better productions but I prefer the traditional MI.

And when a new MI is crowned, she is always well-received by her fellow contestants.

In terms of production, I so love last year production; I love the parade of nation per continents especially when the South American danced the soundtrack of RIO movie and when the Asians danced the Nobody by Wonder Girls. I also love the swimsuit competition with wings on their back. And also the fireworks when Maria Fernanda Cornejo was crowned.

In Defense of Miss International



1. Some of you might say that MI does not want an African for the title. They even discriminate black women in the pageant. Well, let us take a look at the number of African countries joining the pageant. With only 3 to 5 delegates from the continent as compared to dozens of delegate from Asia, Europe and Americas, there is a very little chance for them to make it. If they want more Africans to penetrate the semis, they should try to at least join. Black women are also not discriminated in the pageant. Some of them even place. The only problem is that most of the black women joining this pageant are not worthy of a placement. Take a look at the delegates in the past and you will know why.

They have also been many white and Asian contestants who were not worthy but still got placed in the semis.

Miss International is racist. I have never seen a black judge in the pageant. If more blacks got recognition I am sure you would see many Africans joining as they have done at Miss World and Universe.

Canada is sending a great black contender, lets see how she will be treated at MI.

Most of the countries that are joining MI have been a part of MW and MU for years. MI is just late, and most of these new countries are not consistent with sending representatives. Miss World has 130 countries joining, while MI only has 70.

And yes, for me, MI is also great, a really unique, one of a kind pageant and I really look forward to it every year and also love to read, watch and investigate (again and again) past facts, videos, pics and more of all the winners and contestants... I particularly love the pics with the 3 final girls standing together, after crowned! And for me, without a doubt, MI is the third most important pageant in the world and in some ways, even classier than MU!

Even though she was scientifically enhanced, the girl was still beautiful especially during the Miss Venezuela telecast! She looked like a million bucks. During MI, of course, she also looked good. I wonder why everyone labeled her as horrible or creature stuff

They normally dont get any much hype just to attract sponsors I supposed and this means the Miss International Organiser have much money to keep the pageant happens year after years. They are just rich enough to keep the pageant strong without the need for hype just to get sponsors.(-:
