The judges probably valued intelligence more than beauty. Ashley Callingbull was the BEST CHANCE Canada had for placing in Miss World. =O/

But regardless, Ashley *might* go to MUC next year, and I'm fairly sure she'll win.

The gowns of the contestants and the stage design look tawdry.
Missosology is an interesting and a fascinating science- it is sociology, psychology and cosmetology rolled into one.


Beauty pageants are like Starbucks.

I know alot of people are upset with Tara's win at Miss world Canada! But I would like to remind everyone that Miss World canada has alot of points riding on the interview and Tara scored the highest in this. Ashley (who was my pick to win) Didn't do very well in inteview for some reason (let's just say she had an off day...) So I hope all of you will do what we all know is right and cheer Tara on Miss World (and stop saying she doesn't have a chance because pictures don't do her beauty justice) and hope that Ashley will do what we all hope and go back to MUC. And hopefully MWC will start screening thier girls better because as we can all see (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvjXPjdwAA0) a good batch of the girls really didn't have what it took to be on a national stage.
