I DON´T LIKE SARAH HARRISON SORRY.

hmmm I am thinking Sarah Harrison looks great in her model shots but not her candids.... Not really liking her facial features ( chin nose) .... Still think she may crack top 5 though....
DAJANA - I think looks very teen.. She should come back in 2 years. With proper traininger and grooming she could take it. She is still too green.... Like why would you were a cocktail dress for the evening gown shoot? Probably cuz she only brought 1 and didnt want to ruin the surprize of her gown for the competition... I think She wore that after to dinner.. So it is not her gown she just is not prepared.

Sahar Biniaz is gorgeous, exotic, kinda like Elisha 2.0 but better. If she was younger and about 3-4 inches taller...she would be the hands down winner. Everyone else may as well just go home now. Katie is tall, a very pretty girl but she looks cookie cutter and does not stand out when you put her in a group of blondes, she has to be counted because she is the sentimental favourite and she is from Ontario so, if what people are saying about this competition is true then she'll probably win. If she does win she will likely have the same result as Chelsae at MU. Dajana is a beautiful girl but there is no sparkle and she has to learn how to walk. Give her a couple of years and she could definitely win.
Sarah Harrison has grown to become my favourite...the more I see of her the more I like. She is the combination of the best parts of Sahar and Katie. So what if her facial features are not cookie cutter perfect. That is what makes her looks so interesting and alluring. If you look at past winners of Miss Universe...very few of them have cookie cutter faces...there is always something different that makes them stand out...that draws you in. Perfect beauty is boring. People are saying that Sarah is very charismatic, and as beautiful on the inside as the outside. Not contrived and forced like so many contestants. So I wouldn't count Sarah out yet...All these beautiful girls can look imperfect in bad lighting that creates shadows...including your beloved Katie Starke.

I can't wait to see the Interviews, Bikini Shots and their stage presence....that is when we will really see who is has the all round package to excel at MU.

As far as Ontario goes...Keisha is my favourite... and I hear she is smart and has a great catwalk. She also seems like a nice person judging by candid photos. If Ontario has to win I would prefer it be Keisha. No one seems to be talking about her, but in every picture I have seen, she stands out...much better than Dajana. Christine looks much better in her headshot than she did in evening gown...I was a bit disappointed when I saw her evening gown picture. She has a lot of past pageant experience and I was expecting her to do better. As a side note...I must say that several of the girls this year seem more like they are competing for playboy, than for Miss Universe Canada. (no names will be mentioned as blog pics and headshots speak for themselves)

Sarah is still my favourite...according to fans following on Facebook... looks like they agree too. We’ll see when the competition starts.

I am so over Jenna-gate. It's so unfair that she's the only person getting press for the obvious reasons. There are 61 other people there also competing, this is just not the Jenna show. Did you happen to see ET Canada? Apparently they interviewed some of the contestants. I'm trying to look for the video but cannot find it.

1. Sahar Biniaz
After so many heartbreaks, this is her time to win. She is reaped to represent Canada in a big way internationally. Very beautiful and exotic. I love the passion and intensity in her eyes.


2. Katie Starke- Pretty and little stale in minor areas that needs major polishing.


3. Dajana Radovanovic- Beautiful sex kitten.


4. Jenna Talackova= What makes her beautiful is her hair and skin that go hand in hand together. Her face still leaves more masculine in photos than people actually realized. She needs to stop making this cartoonish expression in stills and go more natural.


5. Tara Davy- Weird face in a good way.

Note: The rest are plain with horrible nose structures. Some of them look cross-eyed. Chubby and unhealthy hairs etc.

Two names...Ashely Callingbull and Aleksandra Malkin...These two ladies were Top 5 favourites in 2010 that everyone was raving about. One was 2nd Runner Up in 2010 (Ashley C) and the other was 2nd Runner Up in 2008 and then, 1st Runner Up in 2010 (Aleks), both beating out Katie Starke who didn’t make it into the Top 5 in 2010. BOTH ASHLEY AND ALEKS EXAMPLES OF BEAUTIFUL WOMEN WHO DO NOT have tiny noses and pointy chins. They have more "noble" noses. If you like cookie cutter, I guess you will never agree. DAJANA ISN'T COOKIE CUTTER EITHER, THAT IS PART OF HER BEAUTY. I much prefer an interestingly beautiful face...much more striking. As far as calling everyone else fat...I think you better wait until you see the swim suit competition. There are girls in this competition with far better bodies than most of your picks. Also, don’t forget personality, stage presence and speaking ability is also going to come into play.

ASHLEY does not have a bad nose at all and she is very beautiful her downfall was her body needed some toning but mainly her walk was awful! ... Aleksandra Oh my yes her nose is awful... Katie is Not cookie cutter my goodness I dont get the hate on her... Yes she did not make top 5 she was very very green. If you want to start bashing people who didnt fair well before how many times has sahra cometed 3 o4? and one year she didnt make top 20.... Kate was a small town girl who literally just started wearing makeup etc. that year She has come a long way. This is her last year and is she doesnt win she is NOT coming back. She is not going to be like Sahra and others that come back 3 or 4 times that is too much. I feel twice is good. 1st time to learn and gain experience 2nd to win. If not your done. Time to move on to other things in life. Like a career. and Sarah Harrison does have a bad nose and Chin makes her kinda harsh I dont find her Beautiful.or elegant in a Natalie Gabova way sarah is Sexy.. and kinda tough looking.

I find people with charismatic personalities look better in candids than in posed photos because candids demonstrate if a person has a natural sparkle. Some girls just take good model photos.

Sarah is as I expected...stunningly beautiful...she even upstages the other 3 MUC's present in these photos...Your eyes are drawn right to her... Sarah is a tall exotic beauty (in a Canadian way)
...She would no doubt get noticed at MU. I am not disappointed... This will be an exciting year for certain...CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THE SWIMSUIT PHOTOS and INTERVIEWS

Sahar looks absolutely amazing! She's so exotic and has that certain sex appeal to go along with it, plus she's majorly accomplished and is a veteran, but I don't think she has a chance. since Davila has taken over, not one girl from outside Southern Ontario has won. Ramona Amiri, Ylenia Aurucci, Sahar, Genida Prifti, Ramona Amiri, Elishia Sahota? Clearly they were all superior but yet they all finished as runner ups. The best girl from the GTA is Dajana but even she is not without her flaws. Yes Katie is a pretty girl but she just does not have the WOW factor to really make an impact at Miss Universe. I'm finding her photos looking remarkably similar to when she competed two years ago and that's just not going to cut it at Miss Universe. The only ones who can really make a splash at MU at this point are Sahar, Sarah, Dajana and the rest while they are pretty girls just won't cut it with the fierce competition at MU.

Have you actually seen the show? if not You need to come to the show ... I think you will change your opinion. Sarha is a Veteran. YES she is too mature looking I think she is super sexy. super beautiful she looks like a movie star.. But a 35 year old one. Her face is too done and MU likes young FRESH girls!!! Dajana pretty but too green. I dont think she has it in her to step it up from her GTA performance. ( I saw it all) Wasnt Genida from GTA? I really loved her. Meh Romona was over hyped and didnt look that great at MUC. Ylenia If I remeber correctly Body wasnt great... Elishia had not presence on Stage never smiled and groofed her questions. Dye her hair Brown? Also as for Majorly Accomplished sahra has been in a few tv shows. if she was so accomplished she wouldnt bother with pageants. . She is what 26 27 years old? Katie is in School.. she is 21 turning 22.. Sahra is at the age when you should be established in your career... I think if Sahra was to win it should have been the last time she competed. This is her 3rd or 4th time... Ppl cut Katie for not cracking the top 5 the 1st time Sahra didnt make top 20 her first time! Anyhow we will see what happens... OMG! The competition will be streamed for the first time ever!!!

62 of Canada’s most beautiful women have gathered in Toronto this week to compete for the prestigious title of Miss Universe Canada 2012, the 61st edition of the contest, presented by Beauties of Canada. Canada is one of only four countries to have sent a delegate to every Miss Universe pageant since its inception in 1952 (along with France, Germany, and the USA).

The glamorous final event will be held on Saturday, May 19th at the Bluma Appel Theatre – St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts in Toronto, with each delegate aspiring to succeed Miss Universe Canada 2011, Chelsae Durocher of Tecumseh, Ontario. There are two elements of this production that are open to the public:

Pageant Presentation Show (Thursday, May 17th, 2012)
All 62 delegates from across Canada compete before a live audience and an esteemed judging panel in the traditional categories (Swimwear and Evening Gown) for the chance to be selected as one of the Judges’ 15 semi-finalists. In addition, 5 segment winners will be joining the group of semi-finalists for a chance to win the title.

Miss Universe® Canada 2012 Pageant Finale Show (Saturday, May 19th, 2012)
The top 20 semi-finalists from Thursday’s Pageant Presentation Show will compete for the title of Miss Universe® Canada 2012 in front of the same judging panel, as well as our live audience in the traditional categories (Swimwear and Evening Gown), plus the addition of a live interview/question and answer segment. However, all 62 delegates will be involved in production numbers throughout the show.

This year, for the first time, Miss Universe Canada will be available via live webcast on the pageant website, at www.beautiesofcanada.com. This enables friends, family, and fans to experience the excitement of the pageant from anywhere in the country.

I'm in Western Canada - it's not just easy to just hop a plane and make the show just cuz. Doesn't work that way, I've been following intensely online and to your arguments regarding whom I thought were superior picks, just look who they lost to, that's what I go by.

Katie has worked and has shown some improvement yes, but if you look at a lot of her recent photos, there's just far too much inconsistency between looking spectacular and looking just average. I'm glad she's worked at it but she went unplaced at Miss International and at Miss Universe will blend in really too much to make an impact.

Dajana looks spectacular but again, there's something missing in her that just makes you go "Yup, she's the one". That said if she wins, I will completely support her, because I think she has what it takes to get there. She's a gorgeous woman and has the potential to be in the top 15.

Sahar, yes she's mature and older but, she is absolutely spectacular and has the look that Miss Universe judges love. She'd be an almost instant lock for top 15.

Sarah is also gorgeous, she has very defined features and is just an all around great person who actually cares about making a difference. I'd be proud if she won too.

I agree with the mods, no need to call candidates names. Elishia Sahota is a spectacular and the sweetest person you'll ever want to meet.
