Anyway.... Janalee is perfect, she is still looking good and she has the softness MW tends to go for! She is prettier than Amanda and, though she is not as eloquent, she looks more humble because one thing I disliked from Amanda is that that same eloquence that made her stood out, it sometimes made her seem so over rehearsed. Only problem I have with Janelee, is that she looks crossed eyes sometimes.... have anyone else notice that too? @-)

So far I like her a lot!

Ay me meoo! La que grabó el video ese fuí yo y el que sale jugando en el fondo y que sale gritando en una parte del video es mi hermanito jajajaja traté de quitarle la laptop en lo que grababa pero no me dejó :%))

As for Janelee, I completely agree with you, but I find Janelee very eloquent, she's just not as eccentric as Amanda was, but to me, Janelee is more natural while talking. She is also very sweet and smart, when she talks, she talks with security, without looking over confident, or over acted like sometimes Amanda looked. As for the eyes, I know what you mean, but I've seen her in videos up close, and her eyes seemed fine the whole time, I think it's just depending on her makeup, because her eyes are kind of separated, and if she has some dark eye shadow, and she looks at some direction, it can give an awkward effect.

Cuando Janelee Chaparro quedó primera finalista el año pasado en Miss Mundo Puerto Rico 2011, decidió que no competiría en otro certamen.

La joven, de 20 años y nacida en Barceloneta, se enfocó en sus estudios en Justicia Criminal, pero hace unos meses recibió la noticia de que este año representará a la Isla en la competencia internacional.

“Es un cambio al que todavía me estoy acostumbrando, todo ha sido de golpe. En ese momento decidí que no iba a participar en otro certamen porque sentí que había quedado en una excelente posición y no tenía la necesidad”, destacó la joven, quien fue coronada ayer.

Wilnelia Merced, tenedora de la franquicia de Miss Mundo Puerto Rico y la única puertorriqueña que ha ganado el certamen, decidió que este año no realizaría un concurso local porque el internacional se adelantó cuatro meses.

Chaparro manifestó que se siente cómoda con la manera en que fue elegida, pues tuvo que medirse con otras concursantes en el certamen del año pasado.

Sobre la controversia que rodea a Miss Universe, luego de que aceptara a transexuales, pero República Dominica descalificó a una candidata por ser divorciada, la reina opinó:

“Tengo mucho respeto por las personas de la asociación LGTB, son personas extraordinarias con personalidad única. Pero creo que también deberíamos darles la oportunidad a las chicas que están casadas y cumplen con los requisitos físicos y mentales. También a las madres solteras”, señaló.

La beldad se dedicará de lleno a su preparación hasta agosto, cuando viajará a China para el certamen.

Los aspectos a los que está dándole énfasis son el físico y el mental.

“Comencé mi preparación física para tener mi cuerpo más ‘set’, para ver cómo me voy a proyectar y mi preparación mental. La competencia dura un mes y quieren que mantenga el enfoque y se trabaje con mucha precaución”, aseguró Chaparro, quien desea traer la segunda corona a la Isla.

Las paginas de global beauty y missosology dieron incorrectamente la edad y la estatura de Janelee Chaparro. Tiene 20 y su estatura es de 170cm (5'7). Esto es según el Nuevo Día periódico de Puerto Rico en donde la entrevistaron a ella.

The real age and height of Janelee Chaparro is 20 and 170cm (5'7). I know is not a big difference to 1.68cm. In global beautys and missology said is age is 21 and 5'6 but is wrong. In the newspaper of El Nuevo dia of PR said is real age and height because they interview her. Sorry for my bad english. I think she has a good chance in Miss World she is very beautiful and she has a fierce body. She has a resemblace of Cynthia Olavarria.

5'7' = 1.73cm
