That's not Judith Keys! Katie and Cherelle are coming into quite a few people's tops but they just would not stand a chance in Donald Trumps Pageant. Seriously, his USA 11 is the winner of 'Ideal Beauty' and his immediate love for Rozanna Purcell- the man has taste. Check out the facebook group. That's a face that's beautiful natural and airbrushed. Fadil Berisha rocks the pageant photography.

I think he def likes the blondes and sometimes the glamorous styles like the stunning Rozanna Purcell as you mentioned. However for the last 7 years Miss Universe has been the opposite to Trumps preference of Blonde and fair and have all been exotic beauties with olive or dark complexions. I really do think that if a blonde is to win Miss Universe then she will have to be something extra, extra special as quite honestly blonde is not currently 'in fashion' its all about that Brazilian Bombshell look (not necessarily Brazilian if you know what i mean lol). And in fact there has only been ONE blonde winner of MU since 1990!!! Saying that however I think the only GB blonde who could stand a chance is Margarita as she has that 'bombshell' look in my opinion.

Well, I'm glad to converse with someone who has an eye for beauty. 2006 was my favourite and I did see Dayana in NYC in the flesh and she was gorgeous. I've also seen Sandra in the flesh at an event in the midlands and she just made everyone stare. I do agree though that 'blonde' is not the what the world goes for and that she should go a more natural shade though to represent the more 'exotic' market. I don't think any of these girls will WIN Miss Universe but how amazing would it be in GB could just place top 16 for once! I wouldn't actually mind seeing a beautiful blonde win for a change though. Sweden, Australia and Kosovo were gorgeous blondes and worthy of the 2011 crown.

Sweden ? She wasn't blonde... and Miss Kosovo's hair color was just FAKE!! As for Australia, she's just pretty IMO.

You're not the only person who thinks this at all. Read the previous 7 pages! Lol. The marketing is awfull for pageants in the UK and its high time someone from the Trump side came and altered this. I love the american/ european beauties that take this far more seriously. It's true though, beautiuful girls here choose alternative careers like fashion. If you look at the contestants more thoroughly though, there's plenty of potential like my winner!

This pageant finds it hard to attract girls who are a genuine international calibre because of a few different things - firstly, the sponsorship fee is SO high, especially for a pageant that isn't the biggest in the country. Second, because of the history behind miss england/scotland/wales etc, MUGB struggles to achieve the prestige with being so relatively new as a franchise.

If they lowered the fee to compete to even £400, they'd attract more people with more sponsors. I must admit if I thought i was better suited to MUGB and the fee was lower, i'd try, but because of that I tend to stick to Miss England.

Sounds like you have had a rough time with organisation/conspiracy etc. Hope you clear it all up and have transparency going forward. Generally the winner stands out above the rest and its clear to all who should be representing the country. I also think it is unfair to say that the UK entries are not of a high calibre. Here in the US the standards are varied. It is hard to find the diamond in the rough but this is what the competition is for afterall right?! Anyone should have the opportunity to compete and enjoy the occassion. I especially like the entries from the UK and think last year was a surprise winner for you guys. You have some serious contenders this year and some have caught the eye of a few people over here.

The doll face blond bombshell Playboy look really isnt the Trump way as previously suggested on here so for all those that are 'enhanced' I'd be tempted to tone it down if you want to do well over here (you might win the country heats but you wont get anywhere in the main final). The bikini/swimsuit is probably one of the main areas for attention as this is when you get to see the real tone, leg length and thin ankles (big ankles are a pet hate). A lot of the girls are very promotion type and commercial looking...there are only a couple that would cut the grade against the current favourite world finalists.

I agree with JuliasPlat...Europe has a lot to offer this year and Poland, Spain, France look HOT.
My fav Brunnette and Blonde from the UK entry...

Brunette - Hannah Holt is the flavour of the competition...she is what the traditional winner looks like and has done for some time (Although...Has there been lip work here?)...there has been a real shakeup on natural beauty and with there not being a blonde winner for some time this could go against her.

Blonde - Chloe Othen looks very natural, US/Eastern Euro mix which is a hot flavour over here especially East side (Miami etc...very 80's, sharp) a clear fav of mine and love her website shots (body ready for anything lets hope she still looks the same).

Mouse - Katie Farr is again very pretty (not sure if she is blonde or burnette 'sorry Katie so will put it into the Mouse category)! Seen Katies photos on star now and she aims very high fashion. Would appeal to a lot of people.

Good luck to all contestants and above all enjoy the experience. Please bear in mind that my opinions are based on photo shots only. Some are not professional and therefore those that have been fortunate enough to have pro shots could be portrayed in a better light. Some could be out of date and some could be wrongly named!!
If you do win...congratulations of course but get yourself in the best shape ever and make the best of your chance.

Have you seen the World final qualifiers NovemberRain? Do you see the two ladies above competing in the top 5/10...probably not. The qualities required to win Miss Universe are extremely high. There has to be an X Factor in your countries entry to have a chance at winning the major title. Imagine the publicity your organisers would gain if your entry came home with the crown... If you think the two you have listed have these qualities then that's fine. Consider emerging faces, age and natural beauty (I cannot stress how important physique and height are). You will not win anything if you are not the full package. The lady that aces this would have already competed and won a handful pageants and have that X Factor winning quality.
Back in the 80's when I was competing in Florida, if I looked to the side and saw a girl that had already beaten me in a previous pageant then I kind of already knew my fate. I was not successful myself but enjoyed the experience and made great friends. I always thought...I might have a chance at the next one but winners do not get less experienced they mature and refine their ways...I hope the organisers in GB have an eye on the main event.

Amy Willerton above looks very nice but she looks very promotion like. There are a lot of photos of her on the internet that do not reflect 'at all' what the Miss Universe pageant represents. For those of you that have not researched or watched the finals before I suggest you have a watch before picking winners. As for the GB website not having the winners for anyone to see...very bad for contestants, those taking an interest that cannot attend the event and for sponsors (if they have any so late). In the states the thrust of the competition is marketing and promotion...there is no event without it. I'm sure when the website is updated (if it is) we will see entries that had not been considered before.

Have to agree with you...there are a couple that stand out, both blonde (one my early pick). Hard to tell at this stage from a small photo and wouldn't be fair on the others (or would it) if we named favourites. Either way it looks like there are some very strong contenders even if the numbers are quite low.

The UK girls are lacking athletism, it's a beauty contest not an 'Only way is Essex' pageant.
