It just come to my attention that there is no reputation point anymore. Am I only hallucinating? Is the feature temporarily disabled or disabled forever? I miss seeing reputation point of every member either positive or negative. How about you folks, do you miss seeing them, too?

It's just temporary. After binibining pilipinas, it will be back. We just need more space to prepare for that night. We don't want to take chances on the server crashing down.

oh cum on. banish these repu thingie already! people here does not really express their true feelings and opinions for fear of a bad repu point!! what's worse is they create alternicks to do so instead. misso works without the repu so just erase it from the face of the earth!

yeah there are some cases. but i believe it having a repu point still excites other members whenever they log-in to misso. for them it's kinda thrilling and surprising of who gave them a positive or good and negative or bad repu point. BTW, you have a very entertaining video! >:D<

I wouldn't mind if you don't add the rep points again but I'd like to have a kind of notifications, so you can know when somebody replied to a post u did or sumthing... Actually I use the rep points for that end! >:)

It would be hypocritical of me if I'd say that I don't care about the reputation points. They guide me. They make me think what to write. They make me have an impression on other people. They serve as my bookmark. They tell me who my friends and foes are. They are among my indicators of failure or success.

Actually, you can set your settings by going to the Control Panel or User Control Panel Menu and then select or press the "Board Preferences" Tab and then click the Edit Posting Defaults (on the middle) located on the left side. Look for this "Notify me upon replies by default:" - hit the "Yes" radio or option button and finally hit the Submit button to save your preferences. By following these steps, you will be able to receive notifications directly to the em-mail address you attached or used here in Misso website. :-D

Yes that is the negative side of removing the repu point, though some can be more brave enough to say what they want, sadly to say, some abuse it by making comments that are too personal, below the belt, sarcastic and focus not on the subject rather to the thread setter and to the other members who commented about a certain thread. I feel you! :=p

I realized them missing yesterday or a day before yesterday - that is why I made this thread to check if it's technical issue on my computer or at my end only. Thanks to Sephora who enlightened me by giving me a legit reason behind or around it. :-D

why is it such an issue?
if you agree with someone's post just pust an answer when you explain your point of view too
if you don't agree , jus do the same thing too.
And on the top of that, having positive or negative reputation doesn't have any incidence/reward.
