I'm totally with you. This season I'm being more agressive to organization. Constantly interrupting them with my calls and e-mails about why can't we prepare our candidates well? It's not that hard. Can Sandikcioglu, he has the power and the money to do that. Thank you

@ Elif, Miss Turkey does not "usually" send the winner to MU. The winner has historically always gone to Miss World and the 1 RU to Miss Universe. Last year was the first time ever that Miss Turkey designated the winner of the contest to MU. Even though Gizem Memic went to MU in 2010, she only did so because her RU could not compete -- Gizem was originally crowned only for MW. So the "change" would not be anything unusual, just a return to the traditional order.
In the end, more than the winner or RU going to either contest, what matters is that the right girl goes, because the two contests are increasingly different.

No, go back and watch the pageant. Gizem Memic was the winner, she was crowned Miss Turkey World, Serenay was crowned Miss Turkey Universe. She was never supposed to go to MW. She decined to go to Miss Unvierse because she wanted to be with her boyfriend, Tolgahan Seyisman, so Gizem went to MU as well

Oh dear you are hopeless. You know it better than me ha? Like I told you they changed it after a couple weeks and wanted to send Gizem to MU only and Serenay to MW. Maybe they offered it to change Serenay's mind I don't care but they did. And she did not declined to be with Tolgahan its only a one week show, they sometimes don't even see their faces because of their jobs and Serenay goes for a fashion show to another city etc.. She declined because her acting career was so important for her and her role in "Lale Devri" was a great success. She knew she wasn't going to be in top 15 or anything so she pursuited on her acting career and did the right thing
