As an avid fan of pageants, nationalism aside, I wasn't rooting for Mr. Philippines as he lacked, in my honest opinion, the aesthetic edge to win and did not, I repeat did not, expect him to win. Forgive me for saying so though I have no clue what criteria the pageant judges are looking for on a male contestant but Mr. Philippines did not impress me, except his physique. If people on this forum express their opinion regarding the winner, they are simply entitled to do so. As a matter of fact, the Filipinos you are referring to are rooting for candidates who are from other countries other than the Philippine candidate. "Why bother have an open forum like this Missosology thread when no one is allowed to speak his or her mind"?

Answering your question above, it is not coincidence because you are bigoted with the notion that Filipinos are not happy whenever their candidates do not win. You resort to racism for the mere fact that you are narrow minded for generalizing your statement. You believe whatever you think of a race is correct and express it openly. Sadly, it is not. Racism = Discrimination = Uneducated[color=#BF0000]
